This serum by the face shop is quite popular in India and I have seen many beauty bloggers talking so much good things about it. So, I bought the one for me and after using it for two months, here is my detailed review.

This smooth brightening serum effectively penetrates into skin, giving it a boost of radiance and brightness. Features White Seed Complex a compound of brightening ingredients which is white lupin seed and white daisy flower extract that improves the look of dullness to make skin look bright and clear. It contains GMO free white lupin seed extract to deliver fresh effects to skin.

Packaging

The serum comes in a white colored opaque plastic bottle with pump attached which makes it super convenient and hygienic to use. The pump is secured with a plastic cap that can be easily pulled off and there is no risk of mess or leakage. Although some may not like to travel with this since the bottle is a lil big.

The packaging is very simple and neat yet looks very classy. The bottle comes housed in a cardboard packaging which contain all the details regarding the product.

Fragrance

Smells amazing! It has sweet floral fragrance which is quite soothing and refreshing. It provide freshness to my mood instantly. After application, it doesn’t stay for too long.

The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Serum Review And My Experience

The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Serum is white in color and has medium consistency that looks like a gel cream. It glides effortlessly and turns watery with the contact of skin. When I applied it for the first time, I was amazed to see how dewy and glowy it looks.

However, it takes some time to completely sinks into the skin. It leaves a sheen on my face and my skin felt very smooth to touch. When I layer this above Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum it looks even more dewy which I love and since I have normal skin it just works perfectly for me, my skin doesn’t feel greasy.

The formula is non-oily and non-greasy but might this be troublesome for oily skin as it will make them look more oily by adding a sheen.

Moreover, the formula is lightweight and doesn’t flakes or looks patchy, so would be a great choice to wear under makeup but one the thing is you have to use a good moisturizer afterwards especially if you have dry skin. Otherwise you’ll end up feeling dry and stretchy. I use this serum twice in a day, in the morning and at night.

It requires a little amount to cover my whole face, so the serum will go a long way. I have been using it since two months one a day, still there are lots of product left. Within two weeks of application I have seen a noticeable change in my skin, my dullness and tanning got reduced. This serum definitely gives me a glowing, dull free complexion. Furthermore, the serum does not cause irritation or breakouts till now but I’m not sure how’s this will gonna work on sensitive or acne prone skin.

Overall it is decent serum to get rid of dullness but it works a little slow, so you have to be patient. It is suitable for dry, normal and combination skin but for extremely dry and oily skin this may not gonna work.
