Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Serum Review And My Experience

I use this serum every night right after cleansing my face. I like to skip toner while using this serum as I feel it works better when applied over bare face. The serum look like gel and its consistency is somewhat on the thicker side. It has silicony smooth texture. Sadly, this serum contains silicones like ‘Dimethicone’ and ‘Cyclopentasiloxane’ which is the only downside of this serum I found. The silicones helps lock moisture into the skin but can also trap dirt and bacteria. Additionally it contains lots of natural ingredients as well.

The serum is really fast absorbing so, I apply it in dabbing motion. It instantly makes my skin feels very smooth and gives tightening feeling as well. The serum does not leave any oily or sticky residue behind because it is non-greasy as claimed. I had noticed a positive difference in my skin from the first use. My skin was looking glowy and rejuvenated.

I tried it for more than 3 weeks and all I can say that this serum does work over enlarged pores, dullness, makes my skin very soft, smooth and rejuvenated. Though it might works on wrinkles as well over a period of time but in terms of moisturizing skin, this serum performs neutral, neither it moisturizes skin nor dry it out.

Moreover, it is failed to provide adequate hydration to dry skin. Therefore, I don’t think it will do anything for dryness or flakiness but this is not a concern for me. My only complaint with this is that it contains silicones. Overall I’m very much satisfied with Innisfree perfect 9 repair serum.
