Today I will be reviewing a lotion by Korean brand The Face Shop. It is The Face Shop Chia Seed Hydrating Lotion. I bought this moisturiser for my mumma and I have tried it on my face as well, for more than two weeks and ready to share my thoughts about it.

Formula without 7 additives – Paraben, artificial color, mineral oil, alcohol, benzophenone, Triethanolamine and animal sourced material.
Packaging
The packaging is very simple, classy and has a very minimalistic design. It comes in a white translucent sturdy plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle comes with an outer cardboard box holding all the information. I find the packaging travel friendly as it is very hygienic, convenient and spill proof.
Fragrance
The face shop chia seed hydrating lotion has a very sweet pleasant smell that instantly refreshes my mood.
Texture
The lotion is white and light textured and consistency is somewhat on the thinner side. It feels really very smooth on skin.
My Experience
I take one or two pumps for my face and neck as well. The lotion is very smooth and it is not too thick in consistency that makes it glides effortlessly on skin. I need a tiny amount of the lotion to cover a lot of area and it gets absorbed easily by patting motion. It makes my skin soft, supple and feels pretty light on skin. It is non oily and hydrating, something that will work best for normal to oily skin types but if you have dry skin it might not work for you.

I have normal skin type and after few hours of application, my skin started feeling stretchy that’s why I apply a moisturiser over it. The face shop chia seed hydrating lotion is water based and hydrates skin really well but failed to moisturise dry skin.
