St. Botanica Pure Radiance Under Eye Cream Review

Today I’ll be reviewing St. Botanica pure radiance under eye cream which I have been using since so long, from almost nine months now. Dark circle is a common problem and it is something not easy to get rid of. There are lots of reasons behind that dark circles like genetics, lack of sleep, malnutrition, stress etc.

I also have dark circles under my eyes which makes me look awful. So I was in search of a good eye cream and I found this one online. I had never tried any product from this brand before but heard good things about them and this eye cream is one of the popular product from the brand.

Price : INR 899 for 50ml

Shelf life : 2 years

Product Description

St. Botanica under eye cream is designed to address every single eye area concern possible including dark circles, eye bags, wrinkles, puffiness, loss of firmness, crows feet, fine lines. This lightweight cream hydrates, locks in deep intensive moisture, without grease or tacky residue. Great for use under make up.

Hyaluronic acid – Helps in promoting a consistent balance of moisture in your delicate under eye skin, tissue repair and protection.

Silk & wheat protein – Forms a moisturizing, protective and anti wrinkles film on the skin surface imparting an immediate, long-lasting, smooth and silky feeling.

Vitamin B3, C & E – Brightens and evens skin tone.

Argan & jojoba oil – Offers strong antioxidant properties to fight against the signs of aging and to achieve radiant, soft and refreshed skin.

Packaging

St. Botanica under eye cream comes in a luxurious, bulky tub with gold metallic screw on cap and an inner lid which serves the function of keeping the tub clean and leak proof, although the cream is quite thick so won’t leak even without inner lid. The tub comes housed in a sturdy cardboard box which contains all the details including description, claims, direction, ingredients, caution and manufacturing details. Overall packaging is quite sturdy, classy and luxurious but too bulky to travel with. I don’t think it is travel friendly.

Ingredients

Fragrance

I couldn’t exactly explain how it smells, it is sort of like blend of different essential oils which is not too strong and doesn’t hurt the sensitive noses.

My Experience

The cream has thick creamy consistency and within a minute it gets fully absorbed. I use my fingertips to tap it. On application it feels very soothing, relaxing and refreshed at the same time. It does not leave any oily, greasy or tacky residue which makes it suitable for wearing under makeup as well. The cream contains both water based (hyaluronic acid) and oil based (argan and jojoba oil) moisturizing ingredients and this combination provides sufficient hydration and moisture to my skin.

My skin remains hydrated all day long and I do not feel the need to reapply it, I only use it twice once in the morning and at night before going to sleep. The formula provides a soft matte finish which makes it suitable for oily and combination skin types as well, although its hydration is not enough for extremely dry skin so I wouldn’t recommend this to people with very dry skin.

Results :

Dark Circles

This eye cream does brighten up my eye area but does not vanishes it completely. My dark circles look less prominent. You have to change your lifestyle and take more healthy foods to get rid of dark circles completely. A single eye cream cannot remove dark circles completely.

Eye Bags & Puffiness

It works pretty amazing on eye bags and puffiness, if you have such problems then grab on this eye cream. I used to have eye bags but since I started using this my eye bags are completely vanished.

Loss Of Firmness

Ever since I started using this my eyes area looks more firm and healthier than before. It does provides firmness.

Wrinkles, Fine Lines and Crows Feet

I can’t say anything about this topic because an eye cream cannot remove wrinkles or fine lines but can prevent them from coming early. With regular usage my skin became soft and smooth. So I think it will reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and crows feet.

Overall I feel that St. botanica pure radiance under eye cream does a really great job for the price it comes. Though it is a bit expensive, but this jar is going to last super long as you only need a very little amount each usage.
