Mamaearth Ubtan Face Wash Review

My today’s post is about Mamaearth Ubtan Face Wash. You must have heard about this brand, Mamaearth is Asia’s 1st made safe certified brand and their products are 100% safe, toxin free and made with natural ingredients which is quite interesting. I had never tried any mamaearth product before this purchase, I bought this after reading lots of positive reviews on Nykaa and Amazon. Let’s move ahead to know how it works on my skin.

Packaging

Mamaearth ubtan face wash comes in an opaque plastic tube with flip open cap. The tube contains all the detail about the product. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly but the face wash doesn’t comes off easily from the tube due to its thick ubtan like consistency and you need to push hard to get the actual product. I think tub packaging would be better for this face wash.

Ingredients

Fragrance

It has mild citrusy smell that fades away after washing.

My Experience

I have been using this face wash since past two weeks now and honestly I’m quite satisfied with it. The most impressive thing about this face wash is that it has no harmful chemicals like SLS, SLS, parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrances. The face wash looks like thick ubtan paste that has tiny granules in it. I use this face wash in my morning skin care routine, I usually take a coin sized amount and first massage it on my palm to create lather, then I apply the face wash on my face and massage it for 2-3 minutes.

It lathers up really well and cleanses all the dirt, oil and impurities and leaves it squeaky clean. It does a fairly good job in cleansing and doesn’t leave any film on my skin. Also there was no dry or stretchy feeling on my skin post application, it is gentle on my skin and leaves it soft and smooth. It contains tiny scrubbing granules which gives mild exfoliation and also the granules are quite gentle so won’t cause any redness or irritation.

Now coming to its skin lightening and tan removing claims, it does gives me an instant brightening effect. These days I’m spending my lots of time under the sun and also apply a good sunscreen but still I get little bit of dullness and this face wash helped me to get rid of that. However, Mamaearth ubtan face wash is not complete solution for tan, it just helps removing daily tan and dullness.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
