Matrix Opti Care Smooth Straight Professional Shampoo Review : This shampoo was a dream product for me and I wanted to try this so badly when I was a teenager. I don’t know why it took me so long to try this out. Although, I’ve tried two different variants of Matrix shampoo – Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Shampoo prior to this. Matrix Opti Care shampoo claims to make hair smoother and straighter. Honestly, I’ve never expected such results from a shampoo but I do want my shampoo to make my hair shiny and silky without giving hair fall.

I have been using this shampoo since past one year, I guess. And finished several bottles of it. It’s a high time to review this shampoo by Matrix. So, let’s move ahead.

Packaging

It comes packed inside a cylindrical plastic bottle with a flip flop cap. Product details are mentioned on the bottle and it doesn’t have an outer cardboard box. It is available in two different sizes and smaller ones can be carried while travelling.

Fragrance

The shampoo has a moderate smell and it smells really nice. It is kinda floral.

I have used commercial shampoo for years and years and don’t know if using those caused my hair to become little rough-tangled or something else. But I’m quite happy now since I have found a good shampoo at a reasonable price. When I was a teenager, I had very silky, soft, shiny hair and I want those good hair days back. For that I have tried several hair care products which I will be sharing in future. But this one also saved my hair as it does not cause extra damage to it. Matrix Opti Care shampoo has a slightly thick consistency and I like to mix little bit of water to spread it evenly. This shampoo foams up very well and cleans my scalp and hair effectively.

Additionally, it does not feel very slippery while washing and gets rinsed off effortlessly without taking much time.
It removes all the dirt, sweat, oil leaving my scalp felt perfectly clean. The shampoo is very well formulated as it neither makes my scalp produce excessive oil nor it does cause any dryness. Plus, it does not weight down my hair and let me tell you that my hair density is already thin. My hair also looked a bit straighter than before ever since I have started using it. Although, it didn’t make a huge difference, if you have a very curly hair, you might not able to see any difference. So, don’t expect this to make your hair straight.

Matrix Opti Care shampoo suited my hair perfectly that’s why I’m able to finished several bottles of it. Furthermore, this shampoo doesn’t give extra hair fall or any sort of irritation to my scalp. I like this shampoo quite a lot and will continue to this.
