I’m back with another moisturizer review which is Biotique BXL Cellular Replenish Hydrating Lotion. If you are a biotique user you must have heard about this range by biotique. It is gluten and paraben free. To be honest I bought this because of its attractive packaging. I have used and reviewed so many biotique products but had never tried anything from BXL range. This was my first product from BXL range which I emptied just few days back. Now let’s get into the details.

How to use

Apply on clean face and neck with upward or outward strokes until gets absorbed.

Packaging

Biotique BXL Hydrating Lotion comes in a big squeezable plastic bottle with mettalic screw on cap. The bottle is transparent so you can see how much product is left. However it is their old packaging. The new one comes in green bottle with pump attached. One bottle contains 190ml of product which is quite a bit. You can find all the details on the outer cardboard packaging. Overall packaging is hygienic but a lil heavy one. So its better to transfer some of the product in a separate container and carry it while traveling.

Fragrance

It has floral fragrance which extremely mild and vanishes instantly after application.

My Experience

The lotion is white and has medium consistency, because of this it spreads very easily. I have normal skin type and this lotion works just perfectly for me. My skin remains hydrated and moisturized for 4-5 hours. Although people with extremely dry skin might need reapplication frequently. For them, I would suggest to use something more rich and creamy. The finish that it leaves is slightly dewy if applied over any hydrating serum or toner. However, it does not make my skin greasy, also does not feel heavy. The product will make oily or combination skin more oily, so wouldn’t recommended to them.

With regular usage it made my skin soft and supple. It works as a nice moisturizer for both daytime and nighttime but in the morning you need a separate SPF since it does not have any. It is a little pricy but a huge bottle will probably last several months, as a little amount of this goes a long way.

Overall it is a good moisturizer for normal and dry skinned people. It is very gentle so suitable for teenager and people with sensitive skin as well.
