In this post, I’ll be sharing Dove Intense Repair Shampoo Review. I had used this shampoo in the past during my school days and I really liked it at that time. So, I’m bought this again and now after using this I am very disappointed. Read on to know why I didn’t like it.

Packaging

It comes in an opaque white colored plastic bottle with a blue flip open cap. The cap shuts well and it is spill proof but this 340ml pack isn’t travel friendly because of its huge size. This bottle contains all the information like description, claims, directions, ingredients and manufacturing details.

Fragrance

It has a strong floral perfume kind of smell and it does lingers for all day long after washing.

Dove Intense Repair Shampoo Review And My Experience

Dove intense repair shampoo has slightly thick creamy and sticky kind of texture and I have to mix it with few drops of water to spread it evenly over my scalp. It lathers very well but takes effort to get rinsed off completely. It feels slippery while washing. I had used this product in the past but this time I’m completely disappointed with it. Back then, I like it because it give me very soft, smooth and nourished hair but this new one works very different from the one I have used before.

I have been using this past two months and now my hair becomes frizzy and it has no nourishing effects. Moreover, I also got lots of hair fall due to this shampoo. I also use many natural oils and hair mask but nothing helps my hair recovering from the damage that it caused.

Now I stopped using this and currently I’m using a SLS and harmful chemical free shampoo and trust me, my hair fall got reduced dramatically from the first use. I think the harmful chemicals in it damages my hair and causes hair to fall. Apart from that, dove intense repair shampoo does remove all the dirt, impurities and excess oil from hair and scalp without leaving any residue behind. Also, it does not repair hair or prevents any damage.
