Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15 Review | PROS | CONS

Today I’ll be sharing Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15 Review. I bought this moisturizer several months ago during winter. Since it has such low SPF, it is only suitable as indoor sunscreen (plus moisturizer) when you aren’t exposed to much sunlight. I thought it would be one of my favourite moisturizer because it does not contain fragrance, alcohol and mineral oil. And claims to suitable for sensitive skin as well. But let’s see how it actually works.

Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15 Review And My Experience

Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer is white colored, medium consistency lotion having a soft texture. It goes on smoothly and settles into an invisible finish without giving any white cast. Additionally it does not feel oily, greasy or sticky and provide enough hydration to skin (normal, combination, slightly oily skin types).

I have used this moisturizer during winter as well and did not find it moisturizing enough for my normal to dry skin type. I used it in combination with a hydrating serum. But still this moisturizer has failed to keep my skin moisturized for all day. After two hours of application, my skin felt really dry and stretchy. Besides, it also cause some red patches on my cheeks. I tried this moisturizer several times on my face and after each usage I’ve noticed a tiny bump. Therefore, I have been using this on my neck and it is working nicely and feels comfortable.

Furthermore, if you live in a dry-heat area, this may cause stretchiness and also SPF is not sufficient for summer. Now when it comes to winter, you can use it indoors but there are chances that it can give you the dry-stretch feel after one or two hours of application. In conclusion, this moisturizer can suit someone with oily skin in winter and normal-dry skin during summer.

Overall, personally I don’t like this moisturizer because it give me red patches and tiny bumps.
