I’m back with another vitamin C serum review and this time it is Jeva Vitamin C Anti Aging & Brightening Serum. My it’s skin vc effector serum was about to over. So, I was searching for something new. I spotted this serum on Nykaa and it was 30% off. I immediately placed my order and I have been using this serum for one long month regularly, it hasn’t disappointed me. Let’s move ahead to find out how it fared on me.

Packaging
It comes in a black opaque glass bottle with black screw cap and an inner lid to prevent leakage. Jeva has provided a separate dropper with the serum and one have to remove the cap and lid and set the dropper with bottle. The dropper makes it convenient to use and also the dropper doesn’t cause any leakage so it can be easily carried while traveling. The bottle is housed in a black cardboard box which has all the details about the product.
Fragrance
Jeva vitamin C serum smells like a herbal scent that stays for a while and is moderately strong.
My Experience
I use this serum every night after cleansing and toning my face. The product says this can be used as a day serum as well but personally I do not prefer to use vitamin c serum in a day time as vitamin C can react to UV rays and reverse the effects and makes skin more sensitive and dull.
The serum has a runny consistency with a smooth texture however the serum is not completely watery it has little bit of oil in it. It is like oil-in-serum. The serum need some massage to get absorbed into the skin. It leaves slight sheen on the skin but it doesn’t look oily or feel sticky. This provides good amount of hydration so if you have oily or combination skin you can definitely skip moisturizer in summers.
I have been using this product for over a month now and I’m really happy with it. I love how it gives a radiant glowing skin in the morning, but sadly it fades away after some time. But with regular usage it makes my skin bright and radiant and there is no dullness at all. It rejuvenates my skin and also makes my smile line a bit smooth.
Jeva vitamin C serum contains 20%, vitamin C but has never irritated or caused any redness to my skin but if you sensitive skin make sure to do a patch test.
