Today I’m going to review Nykaa Country Rose Shower Gel that I’ve been using since a month. Nykaa shower gel is available in rose, lavender and aqua variants. I choose the country rose one because I love the smell of roses. Now let’s get into details.

Packaging

The shower gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a black press open cap. In the front of the bottle, there is a model and rose printed on it and the details about the product is mentioned on the back of the bottle. The bottle is hygienic and leak proof but bulky to travel with.

Fragrance

It has a very mild rose scent which is very calming to the senses and stays for a short time and fades away.

Ingredients

My Experience

The shower gel is light pink in color and has a runny consistency. The texture is soft and is gentle on the skin and creates a rich lather with or without loofah. It gives a slippery kind of feeling on my after rinsing, may be because of having Silicone in it. It washed off all the dirt and grime leaving my skin clean and refreshed. Although the fragrance hardly lingers for a couple of minutes after rinsing it off and is not at all strong or overpowering. This shower gel doesn’t give me any dry or stretchy feeling and after using this, my skin just need a light moisturization to stay soft and supple.
