Fragrance

This cream has both a floral and herbal mix kind of smell. For the little bit, it reminds me of ‘chyawanprash’ as well. The fragrance is not overpowering and it will not cause headaches to the sensitive nose.

Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Cream Review And My Experience

Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Cream has a thick creamy consistency like a ‘balm’. The cream spreads easily due to the smooth texture it has and gets absorbed without taking much time. I apply this cream after cleansing, toning and using a serum. It does not feel oily or sticky post-application and moisturizes my skin pretty well. Although, sometimes my skin becomes dry and stretched after a few hours of application during the dry weather. On the other hand, in humid climate, it makes my skin a little greasy. In my opinion, this cream might not work for extremely dry or very oily skin types.

Appearance

I have also noticed tiny bumps on my nose, chin and cheek area after I have used it regularly for two weeks. During that period of time, I did not use an exfoliator either. This could be a reason why I got so many bumps. I assumed this moisturizer can clog your pores if you layer this over different products or if you avoid using an exfoliator. Hence, make sure you use a good exfoliator with this. I would suggest using a chemical exfoliator for better results. Moreover, using retinol along with this cream should be avoided because it contains alcohol.

I bought this cream last year but since I had so many products to try out I couldn’t use it consistently for a long time. Therefore, I gave this cream to my mom because she has a lot of wrinkles and fine lines on her skin. She does not experience problems like bumps and clogged pores might be because she does not layer different skincare products like me. On her skin, it works nicely and makes her skin smoother and firmer than before. Besides, it also adds a little radiance to her skin.

In my experience, I also noticed a glow on my skin. Also, my skin becomes a little tighter and smoother than before. I started using it only once or twice a week ever since I noticed tiny bumps on my face. However, it would work well for someone who does not have clogged pores, acne/pimples issues and doesn’t layer so many products. To avoid pore-clogging you can use a chemical exfoliator once a week.

Results

It makes skin smoother, radiant and a little tight as well.
