Although, I am not that old to use anti aging products but I just wanted to try a moisturizer that can plump and soften on my skin. Nothing can plump your skin better than a good anti aging moisturizer. This emulsion is pricey but one can purchase this during sale. Considering the quantity and quality, it would not be a very expensive one but it is slightly pricey. One can use this huge bottle for several months.

Packaging

The Face Shop The Therapy Hydrating Formula Emulsion comes in a heavy glass bottle having pump attached on top. Pump has a metallic cover to protect it. I personally like this packaging a lot because it gives a luxurious vibe. Although, it is quite heavy which cannot be carry while travelling. Also, you have to be very careful while handling this heavy glass bottle. Moreover I have no issue with the packaging except the heavy glass thing. Apart from this, complete product details are mentioned over the outer cardboard packaging.

Fragrance

It has a very nice feminine perfume smell. I absolutely like the smell. Although, it is moderately strong which a lot of you may not like. Also, if you don’t like fragrance in your skin care products or have a very sensitive skin. I would not recommend you this emulsion.

The Face Shop Therapy Hydrating Formula Emulsion Review And My Experience

The emulsion is white colored and runny in consistency. It is very thin that glides quite easily and covers large area with just little amount. But it takes time to sink into the skin completely. It has very fine oil content in it that leaves dewy finish. Specially when I layer this over toner and serum, it looks more prominent. So, if you live in an area where there’s too much humidity in air, avoid using this emulsion. As it can make your oily skin more oily. Because of this, I think it is more suitable for normal skin type like mine. Whereas, dry skin people can combine this along with a good hydrating or moisturizing serum for all day hydration.

This emulsion is not moisturizing enough for extremely dry skin on its own. Therefore, you have to layer a nice moisturizing serum underneath. It does not feel sticky or greasy. Moreover, the emulsion is light weight lotion that sits brilliantly beneath makeup. But the problem is after 2-3 hours of application, my skin felt stretchy and tight. That’s why, I personally don’t like using it under makeup.

I have been using this since a long time and I did notice an improvement in quality of my skin. It works better than regular moisturizer. Although, if you are already layering different serums over your skin, then you may not need it. It would be perfect choice for someone who is too lazy to do several steps. And looking for moisturizer to keep skin healthy, plump and youthful. Moreover, I really like that it does not cause any breakouts. However, it may irritate the sensitive skin because it gave me temporary rash once when I had dry and damaged skin.

Overall I really like The Face Shop Therapy Hydrating Formula Emulsion because it hydrates skin and also improve the quality of my skin. Besides, it has fragrance which some of you may not like. Lastly the thing to consider is, it is not suitable for oily skin and cannot be used in humid weather.
