Vaseline Hand Cream Review: In this post I will be sharing Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream Review. Due to washing hands, several times a day and using sanitiser. My hands became really dry and I was looking for a good hand cream in budget. I bought this Intensive Care hand cream from Vaseline a long time ago. It contains petroleum jelly (mineral oil, petrolatum) along with keratin.

Petroleum jelly moisturizes skin. Whereas, keratin protects skin from environmental damage. Also, keratin work as an anti ageing ingredient because it boost natural keratin protein cells that fight dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Without further ado let’s move ahead to detailed review.

Makes your palms, fingertips and knuckles softer, cuticles smoother, and nails stronger with regular use.

How To Use

Apply a small coin size amount of this lotions and work through your nails, cuticles, fingers and hands for nourished and healthy hands and nails.

Ingredients

Aqua, Paraffinum Liquidum, Dimethicone, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Glycol Stearate, Triethanolamine, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Petrolatum, Cetyl Alcohol, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Parfum, Disodium EDTA, Stearamide AMP, Hydrolyzed Keratin.

Packaging

Vaseline hand cream comes packed in an opaque light pink color tube with dark blue flip open cap. I like such flip flop caps because they are easy to use and does not waste your time while opening or closing the cap. Apart from that, it comes with carrying all the details on tube including description, full ingredient list and manufacturing details. Overall packaging is really nice, travel friendly and I have no concern with packaging.

Fragrance

It has floral kind of smell which is neither too strong not too mild either. The fragrance does linger for some time but does not irritate me at all. However, if you don’t like floral scents or sensitive to fragrance/scent you may not like it.

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream Review And My Experience

The hand cream is white, medium consistency and milky in texture. Lotion glides very easily over skin and gets absorbed without leaving any residue. It is completely non greasy and non oily in texture which makes it suitable for summer as well. I bought this in summer but back then, my hands were extremely dry and I ended up not liking it. However, when my hands gotten better I start liking this. Because it hydrates my hands really well without giving any uncomfortable oily and heavy feel. It is very lightweight as well. Therefore, this hand cream is appropriate for day use.

Apart from this, for dry to extremely dry hands, this is not moisturizing enough. Hence, I would not recommend this to people having dry hands. Moreover, it is a good neutral short of choice when you want to add a little bit of moisture to your hands without having a heavy feel.

I love using this over slightly damp skin, because it makes my hands look more healthy and hydrated comparatively. It keeps my skin hydrated for several hours (2-3 hours). Also, when applied over dry hands, it gives a stretch feel which I don’t like at all.

Furthermore, I don’t like it much during winter because it fails to keep my hand moisturized for long time. It does not make any noticeable change in my skin texture. This just moisturize and hydrate skin.

Overall Vaseline Intensive Care hand cream is an average product for me. It was completely different from my expectation. I thought it would be a rich heavy moisturizing hand cream. But it has lightweight and non-greasy formula. It is good for summers and humid weather.
