I bought this Foxtale cleanser several months ago. And I exactly don’t remember what made me buy this product but it was probably because it claims to remove makeup even though I don’t apply them regularly. I just expected it to be a good, effective yet hydrating face wash. Foxtale cleanser contain red algae extract along with sodium hyaluronate to provide hydration while cleansing your skin. Well today I’m here to share a short review about Foxtale Hydrating Cleanser.

Packaging
Foxtale cleanser comes in cylindrical plastic bottle with a pump dispenser covered with a cap. The bottle is comparatively heavy but gives a luxury vibe. Bottle comes packed inside an outer cardboard box and product information is mentioned over both – bottle and outer cardboard box.
Fragrance
This foxtale product does contain fragrance which is not very strong. It does not cause any headache because it disappears quickly after using.
Foxtale Hydrating Cleanser Review And My Experience
Foxtale hydrating cleanser has slightly thicker jelly like texture due to which it does not spreads quite easily over skin. To create foam it required little extra effort. I mix it up with little bit of water and rub between my palms and it lathers well. I massage it for 1-2 minutes, then wash off with normal temperature water.
This facewash does not take much time in getting rinsed. Plus, it leaves no slippery residue which I really like. After cleansing, my skin felt fresh and there was no sign of skin dryness. As claimed, it is a hydrating, non-stripping cleanser that can suit dry skin too. Moreover, this face wash also claims to remove makeup and cleanses skin deeply. My experience says – it cleanses skin nicely removing dirt, grime and oil from my skin. But not sure if it removes makeup or not because I always go for double cleansing/oil cleansing. Plus I don’t wear makeup a lot – I only use BB creams, tinted lip balms and sometimes little bit of foundation.
Despite all of that, I don’t like this face wash because it does not suit my skin. After using regularly for 3 to 4 days I notice some breakouts over my cheek and chin area. And it happened twice, therefore I am sure this facewash was the reason behind my breakouts.
All in all, it can suit dry, normal and combination skin. It’s a good hydrating, non-drying facewash (if it suits your skin).
