How To Use

Wet your face with lukewarm water and massage this cleanser onto the skin using a circular motion. Rinse off using lukewarm water and pat dry.

Packaging

It comes in a big white-colored plastic pump bottle. The pump dispenser works fine but it does not have a twist lock. Therefore, once you unlock it, you won’t be able to lock it again. Also, it can’t be carried while traveling as it can spill very easily. Apart from this, the outer cardboard box and bottle contain all the product details are written in English and Korean.

The cleanser looks like a translucent gel, and it does not foam at all. That is why I only use it once in the morning. Sometimes, I also wipe my face using micellar water because this cleanser does not seem to give a very deep clean feel. However, it spreads very easily and I massage it well for 2-3 minutes, then wash off with normal water. Thankfully, the cleanser is able to dissolve all the dirt and my skin felt clean and smooth after cleansing. However, it is unable to take off makeup, sunscreen, or any heavy-duty products completely from the skin. So, it is better to use when your skin is not that dirty, like in the morning.

You actually don’t need a heavy-duty cleanser in the morning because your skin is already clean due to the skincare routine you followed last night. Also, when using actives like retinol or any other chemical exfoliator you should avoid using Harsh cleanser. I got this cleanser when my skin was damaged and while using this cleanser I noticed that it is not increasing my skin redness like my previous face wash. It is a fragrance-free formula and I have never face any irritation due to this cleanser.

As claimed, the cleanser is really gentle, non-irritating, and can be used as a morning face wash. Apart from this, it does not make your skin feel dry or stretchy and cleanse skin without stripping the skin’s natural moisture. All in all, Neutrogena extra gentle cleanser gives a fresh, clean looking skin after every wash.

Suitability

I find it best suited for sensitive, dry skin types. Although, every skin type can use this cleanser in the morning when you don’t have much dirt on your face.
