I have tried this serum for more than a month and after that I give it to my mom because she has a lot of pigmentation on her face. How to use
After cleansing your face, apply 3 to 5 drops of this serum on entire face and massage gently till serum gets absorbed. Use this at night time.

But I prefer dark bottles because it help prevent active ingredients from oxidation. This bottle is also good for travelling purpose because it does not leak from anywhere. So, you can carry it easily without worrying about spilling.
Fragrance
This serum has a perfumey scent which isn’t too strong. However, I don’t like it as an ingredient ‘perfume’. Since the serum is designed by dermatologist, I do expect it to be fragrance-free, so that people having sensitive skin can use it without having any irritation on their skin. Apart from that, it does not linger for too long or cause headache.

The derma co niacinamide serum is colorless, transparent and slightly running in consistency. It spreads easily over my face but leaves a sticky residue behind that vanishes after ten minutes of application. But after that, my skin felt well hydrated rather than feeling sticky.
On dry/normal skin types it absorbs a little faster whereas over oily/combination skin it will only sits on the skin’s surface (during summer). Although, people having oily and combination skin can use this in dry weather when even the oiliest skin becomes dry. It does not contain any oil and hydrates skin without being oily so it will be a good option.
Apart from that, this formula is also quite good for dry skin due to its rich hydrating properties. However, you would need to pair it up with a good moisturizer to have a well moisturized skin all day long. Moreover, it does not feel too heavy on my face but it is not that light either, I can feel I have applied something on my face.
I use it for more than a month and after that my mom finished the whole bottle. As per directions, I use this serum at night and initially it makes my skin unbelievably bright and glowing. I really love the skin brightening effects though. But after a week, it seems to be less effective. I don’t know why. However, I continue to use because I have some pimple scars on my face which I want to get rid of as soon as I can. Within a month I have seen an improvement in pimple scars, it has reduced a lot. But still there are some stubborn dark spots left on my cheeks. Hence, I can say this serum will take almost three months to show a drastic improvement.
Furthermore, on my mom’s skin this also works effectively. It lessen the appearance of pigmentation and sun dullness. Her skin looks much better than before. However, it doesn’t fade away pigmentation completely.
Besides, I have never faced any short of irritation with it neither my mom does, even though it has high concentration of niacinamide. If you have sensitive skin, you should start with 5% niacinamide because this high concentration can trigger your skin.
Overall I like the derma co 10% niacinamide serum from my dry/normal skin except for two things that, it contain fragrance and formulation is sticky that may not suit oily and combination skin type. It comes at a reasonable price and does reduce dark spots, acne/pimple marks and pigmentation. Moreover, this also brightens and even out skin tone. This serum should be used only at night, thus it will last you for 2 to 3 months. I would recommend this serum to normal to dry skin. Although, people with oily or combination skin can use this in winter.
