Venusia Max Intensive Moisturizing Lotion Review

Venusia Max Intensive Moisturizing Lotion Review: Being a dry skinned person, body lotion holds the important part in my skincare routine. Recently I bought quite a few of them. I bought this lotion several months ago and using it on and off since then. Venusia Max Moisturizing Lotion is formulated with blend of four different butters including shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter and aloe butter. Seeing the ingredients, I thought it would be a great lotion for dry skin but the lotion is different than my expectation. Well It isn’t bad, it’s just different. Let’s see how it performed.

Shelf life: 2 years

Fragrance

The smell is kind of floral but it seems artificial which I don’t like. Although, it disappears after sometime so I don’t mind it.

Venusia Max Intensive Moisturizing Lotion Review And My Experience

Venusia Max Moisturizing Lotion is very smooth in texture having medium consistency that goes on very easily and smoothly. The lotion gets absorbed quickly and adds nourishment without being greasy or sticky. Additionally, it doesn’t make skin oily, therefore suitable for summers as well. In fact, the moisturizing lotion is more suitable during summer if you have dry skin. On the other hand, if your body’s skin is normal ( have no flaky skin ), you can use it during winter.

It hydrates skin but the hydration does not last long over dry skin. However, you will gonna like using it during summer or if you have the skin that isn’t too dry. Because this lotion is non-greasy and also doesn’t look oily either even though it contain natural butters. The lotion fails to keep my dry-flaky skin moisturized all throughout the day and I need reapplication after every 2 to 3 hours.

Furthermore, as per the claims, it does softens skin a little. But again I’m gonna say this lotion is not enough for dry skin. Since the lotion is non-greasy, I tried mixing it with some coconut oil and apply all over my body. And it worked perfectly for my dry skin. That is how I finished the whole bottle.

Overall, Venusia Max Intensive Moisturizing Lotion is a good choice for normal skin and to use during summer but for dry-flaky skin, it’s a big no. Although, you can use it along with body oil or any natural oil to attain enough moisture.
