Nivea Cocoa Nourish Body Lotion Review

Nivea Cocoa Nourish Body Lotion Review: After the success of Nivea body milk, I bought this Nivea cocoa nourish oil in lotion. It is enriched with cocoa butter, coconut oil and shea butter. Cocoa butter has anti aging properties that improves the texture of skin making it smooth and healthy. Whereas, coconut oil is packed with antioxidants to fight free radicals and moisturize skin nicely.

While surfing through the ingredient list, I found out it has shea butter that heals and soften skin. All these ingredients has potential to make skin healthy, moisturized and it claims to keep skin moisturized for 48 hour. Now that’s move ahead to Nivea Cocoa Nourish Body Lotion Review.

Fragrance

It has a fragrance of cocoa which is not too strong or annoying. Also, the fragrance stays for a short period of time without irritating my nose.

Nivea Cocoa Nourish Body Lotion Review And My Experience

The lotion is white color, slightly thick having a very smooth texture. It feels very satisfying to touch and spreads easily over skin. But it takes time to sink into the skin completely and leaves a slight sheen on the skin. So, you have to wait for sometime before putting your clothes on. Though it is slightly heavy, it does not feel greasy or oily which is a plus point.

Also I have noticed that part of this lotion just sits on the skin. I use this every night as  hand cream and in the morning when I wash my hands, it feels slippery and gets washed with water pretty easily. Although it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth like I have used a sleeping mask on my hands. However, I didn’t feel the same for my body because it is is dry enough to absorb all the moisture in.

I have been using this lotion since more than a week and mostly use after taking shower. It covers up all the dryness instantly making my skin soft and moisturized. Moreover, once I have apply it over exfoliated, shaved skin and surprisingly this makes my skin incredibly smooth. With regular use my skin felt more softer and healthy looking.

Apart from that, I have never faced any short of irritation or rash while using this. This lotion is apt for winters only and keep skin moisturized for entire day. I don’t need frequent reapplication. Based on my experience, I would only recommend this lotion to dry/extremely dry skin. On normal skin type this can be a little annoying because it leaves a residue that takes more time than usual to absorb.

Overall I like this lotion especially for winters because it is quite moisturizing that stays for entire day. It takes time to absorb but this one is really nourishing and makes skin soft, smooth, healthy looking when used consistently. Moreover, this lotion is suitable for dry to extremely dry skin and available at economical price (during sale), thus anyone can afford this.
