Dove Anti Dandruff Shampoo Review: My today’s post will be about Dove Anti Dandruff shampoo Review. This is not a new product for me because I have been using it since past 6 years but I only use this shampoo in autumn and winter. Rest of the months, I use different shampoo because this one is really creamy and moisturizing that can make scalp oilier.

I had tried different variant of dove shampoo and this one suits me the most. In my previous post I have shared, how’s the dove intense repair shampoo works on my hair but this one works absolutely different for me. So, let’s get into the details.

This medium size pack can be carried anywhere while travelling but it is slightly heavy as well that some people may not feel comfortable with.

Fragrance

Dove dandruff care shampoo has a strong floral smell and it does linger for all day long after washing. It would be better if they use a mild fragrance instead of this harsh smell that may cause you headache.

Dove Anti Dandruff Shampoo Review And My Experience

The shampoo is white, creamy and almost looks like a moisturizing lotion. It creates pretty nice amount of lather and also spreads easily over my scalp. While washing it feels slightly slippery and take some time to get rinsed off completely. However, the shampoo is able to clear all the dirt and excess oil. Since it’s a creamy shampoo, make sure not to use excessive hair oil before using this, otherwise it will leaves an oily residue behind.

It does not remove heavy oil completely in a single wash, so you need to use it twice to get rid of the excess oil. Apart from that, It adds a very nice sheen to my hair, leaving it smooth and hydrated. The shampoo is creamy that does not dry out my hair, I think it will be a good option for dry hair or dry scalp. While on the other hand, it might makes oily scalp more oilier. So, I would not recommend them.

Now coming to the actual claims which I think it does fulfills it claims to some extent. It prevents dandruff from coming and after I started using this product I don’t have much dandruff problem. This shampoo does not remove the dandruff rather it just prevent it. So, don’t expect too much from it. I like to use this during winter and it performs pretty well. Also the shampoo does not cause extra hair fall but it does have SLS so avoid overuse of this product.

Benefits

Dove anti dandruff shampoo help prevent dandruff if you do not have any serious problem. Moreover, it does not dry out hair or cause any extra hair fall and will be a good option for dry hair.

Overall dove anti dandruff shampoo is affordable and decent choice for people having dry hair who just want to prevent dandruff. But this may not work for you, if you have dandruff due any serious condition.
