Product Description
Ubtan Face Mask by Mamaearth will give your face a fresh, bright look and help you achieve a lighter skin tone. Saffron is known to clear spots and lighten the skin tone which helps in enhancing skin complexion while apricot oil firms and tones skin and due to vitamin A & E present in it. It also soothes and slows down the ageing process. Antioxidants in turmeric protect the skin cells from free radical damage and help lighten the skin tone. This product is dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic, it does not contain any harmful chemicals like SLEs, sulfates, phathalates & artificial fragrances.
Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Packaging
Mamaearth Ubtan Face Mask comes in a big tub packaging with screw on cap, once the cap is opened there is another plastic cover provided to protect mask from spillage. Mamaearth also provided a spatula that makes it hygienic and easier to take out the product. The tub is not ideal for travel as it is huge and bulky, so its better to carry some of the product in a separate small container. The tub comes enclosed in a cardboard box with all the details mentioned on it.

It has citrusy fragrance which is moderately strong but does not stay after removing the mask.
My Experience
The mask has thick consistency and looks like paste of gram flour, yogurt and turmeric. I apply this mask over properly clean and damp skin, it has a smooth texture that glides easily over damp skin with the help of fingertips. I left this mask on my skin for 15-20 minutes and rinse off with normal water, it does not comes off easily you have to scrub it off. The mask gives me a very nice cooling sensation until I kept it on my face so this will also help you soothe sunburn.
It does not moisture off my skin and felt instantly soft, fresh and clean. It is quite gentle, never irritated my skin or caused any breakouts and will be suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin type as well.
It’s been a month that I have been using mamaearth ubtan face mask and it does lighten the skin and helps remove tan, when I first use this I did not notice any drastic difference in my skin tone. You have to use this 3-4 times a week to get noticeable results as it takes time to show results. When my skin is tan free, I only use once a week. It also claims to have anti aging properties but I can’t say anything about that because I didn’t see such effect.
