Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Wash Review

Today I am going to review Alps Goodness Sandalwood Face Wash. I was impressed with alps goodness saffron day cream that I have used earlier and bought this face wash from the brand with high hopes. I have been using this for about two weeks now and I’m all set to review this. Let’s see how well alps goodness lives up to their claims.

Ingredients

Sandalwood Oil, Aloe Vera, Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco Amino Propyl Betaine, Polyquaternium-7, Glyceryl Cocoate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Cocodiethanolamide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Colour, Perfume, Purified Water.

Packaging

Alps Goodness sandalwood face wash comes in a standard opaque tube packaging with a dark brown flip open cap which is too tight thereby does not causes leakage or mess. The tube holds all the the information regarding the product including complete ingredient list. Altogether, the packaging is really nice and travel friendly.

Fragrance

It smells quite pleasant with soft sandalwood scent and it linger around for sometime after washing.

My Experience

The face wash is runny and has gel consistency so, one have to be careful while pouring. It spreads easily and foams up enough for a perfect wash but you have to massage it on your palms rather than applying directly to create lather and I feel that it needed a little bit more effort to rinse off completely. Also, I could feel slight slippery residue left on my face. It cleanse my skin well by removing impurities and dirt from my skin. I solely use this in the morning because it isn’t effective in removing makeup or sunscreen residue. My skin felt instantly soft, fresh and there was a subtle glow on the skin. Besides, I didn’t feel any irritation or dryness related issue. I don’t think it would be effectual in oil control. So, I will keep this face wash in category of gentle face washes.

Though, there is no information is given about the suitability of this face wash, I personally feel it is suitable for dry, normal and combination skin for gentle cleansing. Overall it is just an average face wash that mildly cleanses skin while leaving a subtle glow.
