Chemist At Play Dry-Very Dry Skin Body Lotion Review

This body lotion is one of my most recent purchases and I already tried and finished it completely. Body lotion is something our skin craves the most during winter and spring. This winter I have tried several body lotions including this one. This body lotion claims to lock moisture into this skin and strengthen skin’s barrier for which it contains 2% shea butter, 3% pentavitin, 2% sunflower oil, ceramides and hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate). Moreover, I also like the fact that it mentions pH level and it has pH 5.0 which means it will moisturize your skin without disturbing skin’s natural pH level. Let’s move on to Chemist At Play Dry-Very Dry Skin Body Lotion Review.

Ingredients

How To Use

Apply the required amount on clean and dry skin. Allow the product to absorb before applying other skin care products.

Packaging

Chemist At Play Body Lotion comes in a rectangular plastic bottle with a pump attached on top. The packaging looks kind of cute and aesthetic. It’s Instagram friendly product and bears a clean design which I really like. Moreover, the pump easily gets locked and open with a twist. For the product information you can check it out on back of the bottle.

I find it a little bulky, so I don’t prefer carrying it around but if you ignore its broad size it can be easily carried because it does not spill.

Fragrance

This body lotion has no artificial fragrance in it and it’s definitely a plus point for me. However, I can notice a very light smell that comes naturally from the ingredients it has and it is not bothering at all.

Chemist At Play Body Dry-Very Dry Skin Body Lotion Review And My Experience

Chemist At Play body lotion is medium thick, smooth textured that goes on easily over skin and feels hydrating upon application. Usually dry skin body lotions have thick consistency but this lotion gives me a facial lotion vibes. However I don’t suggest applying this on face.

Once I apply this to my skin it looks kinda shiny until the lotion gets absorbed completely. But thankfully it does not feel greasy or sticky, although initially it did feel a very little sticky that goes off after some time. I feel it is truly nourishing lotion and much better than those chemical filled body lotions that felt nourishing but does not contain such good ingredients. As skin nourishing lotion – it contains shea butter, phytoceramides, sodium hyaluronate and some natural oils too. Chemist At Play Body Lotion moisturize my dry skin pretty well for about 4-6 hours depending on the weather. Although, when my skin is extremely dry this lotion does not feel enough.

I prefer applying this right after showering over slightly damp skin, it might take a little more time to absorb but this method definitely worth your time. Because it helps binding the moisture and also keep your skin moisturized for longer. Furthermore, it does not feel heavy on the skin and never caused any skin irritation. You can use it in any season whenever your skin feels dull and dry.
