Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Review: Today again I’ll be sharing a cream review which is Cetaphil Moisturising Cream. I bought this cream after using cetaphil moisturizing lotion tester. Since I have already tried the lotion I decided to buy the cream. It is enriched with almond oil, vitamin E and has humectant, emollient, lipids and occlusive as well. Therefore, it is a trustworthy moisturizer. In addition to this, the cream is non-comedogenic, fragrance free and dermatologically tested too. It is suitable for all skin types and can be applied over face as well as body. Cetaphil moisturizers are quite popular and comes at economical price.

Moisturisers are most important part of my skin care. Recently I have indulged myself more into fragrance free moisturizers and I bought this with high hopes. So now let’s move ahead to the review.

Packaging

Cetaphil cream comes in two different sizes. I have the smaller one that comes in a soft opaque tube with green flip flop cap. I find the packaging hygenic and travel friendly. The tube comes packed inside a cardboard box on which all the details are mentioned. Well, product information are also written on back of the tube. So you may throw outer cardboard box if you want. Overall, it has a very clean appearance and it looks more like a medicinal cream than a cosmetic cream.

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Review And My Experience

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream is white colored having a thick creamy consistency like a balm. Even though it is thick, it glides on smoothly and gets absorbed quickly too. This leaves no oily residue behind and is non sticky and non greasy. Cetaphil cream leaves soft matte but moisturized kind of finish. It is not very hydrating in my opinion because I have extremely dry skin (in winter). And after application my skin still felt like it craves hydration (especially in winter). Moreover it felt soft and moisturized after I apply this cream but it is not long lasting over my dry skin.

The product is perfect if you want to use a moisturizer that helps seal all the hydration in. But for that you have to use heavy hydrating serum and lotion beneath. I think dry skin people can use this in summer and people with oily/combination skin can use this in winter.

Apart from this, cetaphil moisturizing lotion was hydrating + moisturizing which was very good for dry skin people. Whereas, cetaphil moisturizing cream is adaptable for combination and normal skin. Despite of being non-sticky and non-greasy I don’t think you would enjoy it during humid climate. I use this cream in the morning after cleansing and applying serum.

About halfway through the day, I felt the need of the reapplication. Although, it does not feel stretchy still I guess it is not enough for very dry skin type. You can use cetaphil lotion or bioderma atoderm cream in case you have very dry skin.

Furthermore, this non-comedogenic cream never cause bumps, clogged pores and any kind of irritation to my skin.

Suitability

Cetaphil Moisturising Cream is a good non comedogenic moisturizer for oily/ combination skin in winter. And for dry/ normal skin it work better during summer. However, not recommended to extremely dry-dehydrated skin like ‘sahara dessert’.
