Today I will be sharing The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam Review. Since it is quite popular, I was eagerly looking forward for sale on this particular product. Somehow I got this full size cleanser free along with the face shop rice ceramide moisturizer. I was quite happy as I got the same product I wanted to try since a long time. However, it does not met my expectations. It claims to brighten and cleanses skin deeply.

This the face shop rice water bright cleansing foam is enriched with rice extracts that offers your skin clear and even complexion. Moreover, it is formulated with a natural rice water solution with brightening properties, it cleanses skin without irritation, thanks to its creamy texture.

How To Use

Lather an adequate amount of cleanser over face and neck. Massage gently in circular motions. Then, wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Packaging

It comes in a light pink color tube with black flip open cap. The tube is glossy, sturdy and travel friendly. Also, it is slightly bulky that some of you may not like carrying it around. Fragrance

This face wash has floral smell that reminds me of shaving cream. Although, it isn’t too strong and does not linger for long. Hence, it won’t cause any problem to sensitive nose.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam Review And My Experience

The face shop bright foam cleanser is white and creamy in texture. It is slightly thick as well. So I use this over damp skin. It creates a really nice amount of leather which is quite satisfying as it give deep clean feel to my face. I use this cleanser mostly in my night time skin care routine. Face wash is actually works excellent in removing excess oil.

Along with this, it cleanses dirt and grime. I’m not sure about how well it removes makeup or sunscreen. Therefore, it is better to remove makeup and sunscreen well using micellar water or cleansing oil before using this face wash. The biggest problem with cleanser is that it leaves an alkaline residue making my skin really dry and stretchy. This might be a good choice for oily skin. But for me, it turned out as a horrible product because it gave me a lot of white tiny bumps on my face. Initially, for a week I did not face any problem.

But after that, I keep getting breakouts one by one. At first, I did not realize but once I stop using this I stop getting breakouts too. I have really high expectations from this face wash. Furthermore, it claims to brighten skin and it did live up to its skin brightening claims. It makes my skin instantly bright but the effect is temporary. We can’t expect extreme skin brightening with just a cleanser. Though, it gives instant temporary effects which I like.

Overall I don’t like the face shop rice water bright cleansing foam because it breaks me out badly. Apart from this, it dries out my skin.
