It has been a while since I reviewed a face mask. Today I am back with Plum Green Tea Clear Face Mask Review. Plum green tea mask is one of the best seller product from plum. Also, the whole green tea line is quite popular among oily skin beauties. The main ingredient of green tea line is glycolic acid which is an AHA that fights acne. Moreover, it exfoliates dead skin layer, clogged pores and make skin surface smooth. I think this is the reason why it is so popular among oily, acne prone skinned people. This face mask can be used by both men and women.

How To Use

Layer it gently all over face, avoiding your eye area. Wait or 30 minutes or until mask dries completely. Wash off with normal temperature water. Pat it dry gently, do not rub. Apply a gentle moisturizer afterwards. Use once a week.

Packaging

Plum green tea clear mask comes in a heavy glass tub which is not ideal for travelling. It has a screw on cap and an inner lid to prevent any mess. There is no chance of leakage because the product itself is quite thick. Furthermore, this tub has an outer cardboard box as well that contain all the product related details. I did not like the heavy glass jar because it is way too heavy and can break very easily if it falls.

Fragrance

It has a very nice perfume kind of smell which is quite pleasant. However some of you may find it strong. It smells exactly the same as other products from plum green tea line. Personally, I like this smell a lot and I don’t mind having fragrance in wash off skin care products like face mask, scrub and cleansers.

Plum Green Tea Clear Face Mask Review And My Experience

Plum green tea clear mask is beige colored having a thick consistency. At first I tried to apply this over damp skin but it slips a lot and does not spread at all. It was quite tough to work with. Then I waited for few minutes and let my skin air dry. I reapply it again and it was easy to apply over dry skin. Moreover, I need a small coin size amount for each usage. After application, I leave the mask for 15 minutes and it takes about 10-15 minutes to dries up completely. I avoid leaving the mask for too long because this can make skin dry which I don’t want.

It gets rinsed with little massage and leaves no residue behind. On application, it gives slightly tingling and burning sensation that makes me sure it is working. This can be troublesome to sensitive skin and damaged skin barrier. Tt’s better you don’t apply this over sensitive and damaged skin. Furthermore, burning sensation goes off after few minutes without leaving any rash on my skin. Plum green tea mask is enriched with glycolic acid and it does makes my skin clear with regular use. Besides, it leaves my skin look clean and little radiant after each usage.

If you include this in your regular skin care routine you will definitely have less breakouts and pimples. Additionally, I don’t think it will remove acne or pimples completely because this is not a medicine or treatment.
