Today I’m here presenting to you Ponds White Beauty BB+ Cream Review in the shade 01 Original. I had used the old version earlier in my school days. Ponds launched these two new shades 01original and 02medium this year. My shade is 01original which is recommended for light to medium skin tones and shade 02medium is suitable for medium to deeper skin tones.

I have fair skin in yellow undertones. Let’s see how’s the Ponds White Beauty BB+ Cream work for me.

Packaging

It comes in white and pink opaque plastic tube with metallic screw on cap. This metallic cap adds a luxurious feel to it. It has pointed nozzle which is quite good and provides just the right amount of product.

The tube comes housed in a cardboard box packaging which contains all the necessary details. It comes in four different sizes and I bought this smallest one which is easy enough to fit in handbags or pouches. It is leak proof so wouldn’t spill and stain your stuffs.

Fragrance

It has a very nice pleasant floral smell which I like but may be a little strong to people with sensitive noses. However, it fades away after some time of application.

Ponds White Beauty BB+ Cream Review And My Experience

The BB cream has medium consistency, neither too thick nor too runny. I apply it over well cleansed and moisturized skin using my fingers, then blend with a beauty blender to get a perfect finish. It blends quite easily and gives natural semi matte finish. The BB cream provides sheer to medium coverage and unable to cover up dark spots, blemishes but lightens dark circles a bit. It evens out minor skin imperfections as well.

This BB cream is suitable for almost all the skin types, it doesn’t make my skin oily or greasy at all neither my skin feels dry but if you have dry skin use a good moisturizer beneath. It is pretty light and perfect for daily use. It provides even toned look that will stay for approx 5-6 hours. The cream has SPF 30 PA+++ which is good for winters and cloudy days but I would suggest to use a sunscreen in summers since it didn’t provide much protection form harmful UV rays.

Moreover, it doesn’t leave any whitish cast or look patchy.

My shade is Original which is for fair skin tones. I apply this before going out and after 3-4 hours when I came back, I saw that it oxidize and my skin turns little orangey which I really hate since it looks completely different from my actual skin tones. Although, it looks good and matches my skin tone on application. I really don’t think it suitable for pale, lighter or very fair skin tones. Furthermore, the shade is suitable for most of the fair, indian skin tones but I wouldn’t recommended this to very fair and paler skin tones.
