Today I’ll be reviewing Nykaa Skin Secrets Pearl + Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask. I bought this dual purpose mask due to its main ingredient hyaluronic acid that helps retaining moisture to the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Another main ingredient is pearl which is known for its brightening effect. Hyaluronic acid is my favorite skin care ingredient and that’s why I bought this variant. So without further ado let’s move ahead to the review.

It comes in a white sachet pack which is very easy to tear off. It bears all the details on the back and front part contains logo, name and picture of main ingredients. Overall packaging is really good and can be carried easily while traveling.

Fragrance

It has very mild sweet floral smell that feels very soothing to the senses and won’t hurt sensitive noses.

My Experience

The sheet mask is made up of thin cotton sheet which is quite good actually, it fits very well on my face and would fit well on almost all type of face shapes. The serum drench in sheet is almost watery and has thin runny consistency. I apply the sheet mask over cleansed and dried face and this mask sits very well over my face. I leave the mask for 20 minutes then remove it. The serum got absorbed really well into my skin.

After removing the mask my skin feels a bit hydrated but not that much. I don’t think it will provide enough hydration to dry skin, even to my normal skin it didn’t provide adequate hydration. This will be more suitable for oily and combination skin type. Also the mask did not give any brightening effect on my skin. I keep the leftover serum in a separate container and use it every night before going to sleep for a week but I did not notice any visible change in my skin tone.
