Ingredients
Packaging
It comes in an opaque sturdy plastic tube with flip open cap. The tube is so colorful and fun yet looks very neat and all the information regarding the product is mentioned on the tube as well as on the carton box that comes with tube. The tube packaging is hygienic, light weighted and easy to travel with, also the product would not spill and stain your stuffs.
Fragrance
Mamaearth ultra light indian sunscreen has extremely mild smell which is only noticeable when you sniff directly from the tube. Although it does not smell artificial like most of the sunscreens.
Mamaearth Ultra Light Indian Sunscreen Review And My Experience
The sunscreen has medium consistency like lotions, it is not too thick like creams. It is slightly pale maybe because of having turmeric. It glides very easily and gets absorbed within 30 seconds, I spread this very gently and tap it so that it gets absorbed completely by my skin. It feels extremely light on my skin like I haven’t applied anything , it is the lightest sunscreen I have ever used till date. Also I didn’t notice any white cast rather it gives a subtle glow on my skin that looks quite natural. The sunscreen does not feels oily or greasy but looks slightly shiny whenever I wear it over moisturizer while when used on bare face it looks semi matte.
The sunscreen does not flakes or peel off but when I apply BB cream with my fingertips it becomes slightly patchy, then I blend BB cream with a damp beauty blender and it settled well into my skin. So I would suggest you to use beauty blender to apply foundation or BB cream over this instead of rubbing it with your fingers.
I did not experience any breakouts or rashes, this will be suitable for all skin types still I would suggest to do patch test because everyone’s skin is different. If you have oily skin you might end up looking a bit more oily or sweaty especially during monsoon.
The sunscreen has SPF 50 PA+++ which is good for indian weather and it does protect my skin from sun damage and tanning. However if you are planning to stay long hours under the sun, you need to reapply frequently because the indian weather is extremely harsh during summer and only a single application is not enough to protect your skin from further skin damage.
