Plum Bright Years Day Cream Review: Today I will be sharing Plum Bright Years Age Specialist Day Cream SPF 45 PA+++ Review. After a long time, I am going to review a day cream. Recently, I have been trying some of them. I bought this some time ago and using on and off. Actually I have tried this product in different weathers and different skin conditions to see how it works. Plum bright Years day cream comes with SPF 45 PA+++ which is quite good for indoor protection.
Moreover it claims to protect, hydrate, nourish and make your skin alive. I have almost emptied the product and here is my opinion.

Ingredients
Packaging
First of all, I really adore its packaging. Most of plum’s moisturizer comes in same bottle design. It comes in sturdy and slim cylindrical bottle with a pump attached which is covered with a cap. It is made of plastic, hence this would not feel heavy. So you can carry it anywhere without having to worry about breakage and spillage. Also, it is hygienic and convenient because of the pump on top. Furthermore, bottle comes house in an outer cardboard box on which all the details are printed. You can find some information on bottle as well.
Fragrance
It smells like vanilla with a hint of floral which is so delicious. Though, the smell is not too strong but not that mild either. Therefore, some may find it a little bit too much. Despite of that, if you don’t like having fragrance in your skin care, you may not like this. Although, I would have like it a lot if they formulated this cream without fragrance.
Plum Bright Years Day Cream Review And My Experience
Plum Bright Years Day Cream is light pink in color and has creamy texture that glides effortlessly over skin. It blends easily but you have to be little quick while massaging as it does not take too long to absorb. This cream sometimes leaves my skin slightly matte but at times, it also leave slight sheen when the weather is humid or when combined with a moisturizer. I personally like having slight sheen on my face. Mattifying creams make me feel dry and stretchy after sometime that’s why I avoid such creams.
On its own, this cream is not hydrating enough for my normal/dry skin. So, I layer a non comedogenic moisturizer beneath. I avoid layering more than one product with this. Besides, it also leaves slight white cast which I like because it make me look even toned. However, this white cast can be noticeable over deeper skin tones.
I don’t prefer using this under makeup. Because of white cast your makeup me not feel very smooth or even. I feel that when the weather is dry this cream does not feel moisturizing enough. So you can combine with any moisturizer you like. It is a great option for normal/dry skin people in humid weather. Whereas, oily/combination skin people can use this during dry weather.
During the humid weather, I use it directly as first step after cleansing my face. And it does not feel dry or gave me any breakouts or bumps. But the problem happens when I started using this over a serum and moisturizer. It doesn’t really give me breakouts rather it gave me tiny bumps on forehead and nose area that wasn’t pleasant at all.
Apart from this, it has SPF 45 PA+++ which is sufficient for indoor protection during summer. There is no doubt that I like using this during summer right after cleansing my skin. Also, there was no sticky residue left behind. When applied directly to skin, it gives soft matte feel without being dry. I think it protects my skin pretty well at home but not sure how it will gonna work for outdoors. Usually, I don’t reapply sunscreen when I am at home.
As for the ageing thing, I don’t think it makes my skin anti-age but it does make skin feels alive.

Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5
Overall, in my opinion Plum Bright Years Day Cream is a really good option to try if you want to use just a moisturizer that also gives you sun protection. Normal to dry skin people can use this during summer and oily-combination skin people can use this in winters. It does not feel heavy or greasy but it does leaves slight white cast which may not suit deeper skin tones. For me, it works nice as moisturizer + indoor sunscreen but I don’t think I would ever re-purchase this again because I have a lot of product to try out.
