Etude House SoonJung Moist Emulsion Review And My Experience

Emulsion looks like a gel-cream formulation having a watery texture. Also the emulsion has thin consistency compared to facial lotions. Hence, it is good for combination and oily skin too. In addition to this, emulsion glides on very smoothly but take little time to absorb into skin. Although when I apply over dry skin it gets absorbed in no time leaving my skin not moisturized enough. Therefore, I always use a good hydrating serum beneath this emulsion, so that my skin does not feel dry or stretchy after few hours.

I actually like it’s balanced formula which is neither oily not mattifying. Being a lightweight formula, it has both hydrating and moisturizing properties which is perfectly suitable for combination to normal skin type.

I have used this emulsion for entire summer of 2021 and it’s been perfect moisturizer for my normal skin. However, I could not use this in winter because it wasn’t moisturizing enough for my dry skin (in winter). I bought it last winter and initially didn’t like because it was not moisturizing enough for me. My skin still felt stretchy even after applying it twice. But after started using it again in summer, it fits quite perfectly as my skin turns normal during summer.

Furthermore, with each usage skin felt hydrated and smooth. And the great thing is, I don’t have to face uncomfortable shiny or oily finish with this emulsion. It provides a fresh appearance. And it settles into somewhat soft-matte yet hydrated finish. Plus formula is perfect for normal to combination skin type. Whereas, dry skin can use this during summer or monsoon and oily skin people can use it during winter.

Moreover, this emulsion also settles well under makeup because it is light and does not peel off. Additionally, it is adaptable for Acne prone skin as well since it is non comedogenic and has never cause me any bumps and pimples.
