Packaging
Lakme sun expert de tan Scrub comes in an ombre orange colored sturdy tube with a screw on cap and the tube has tiny hole where the product comes out. Packaging is opaque so you can’t see how much product is left inside. You can find all the product related details on back of the tube including description, claims, usage, warning, ingredients and manufacturing details. Furthermore, it is spill proof and travel friendly but it would be more convenient if this has flip open cap.
Fragrance
It has a fruity smell which is slightly strong that may cause headache to people having sensitive nose. Also, after rinsing it stays for quite some time which I don’t like at all.
My Experience With Lakme Sun Expert De Tan Scrub
Lakme sun expert de tan Scrub is cream based having a sticky, thick consistency. In a nutshell, it looks like a paste of gram flour, wheat flour and water. Due to the sticky consistency, I always use this over damp skin. This scrub needs to be mixed with water before applying and one more thing is, it creates lather when you rub this along with water.
The granules are very tiny and mild that barely feels on the skin. It is more of a scrub wash than exfoliator, it feels like I’m scrubbing gram flour paste on my face. This scrub is extremely gentle on skin. As claimed, it gives gentle exfoliation but unable to extract blackheads and whiteheads. After rinsing, my skin look clean and glowing without any dryness or leaving any residue but results are visible when used consistently.
As per the de tan and claims, I think it help remove dullness and tan but you need to use anti tan face packs to get better results. It does not remove tanning completely on its own. I would recommend this specially to people having very thin, sensitive kind of skin because their tiny granules will not hurt your skin.

Overall Rating: 3.9 / 5
Overall I think Lakme sun expert de tan scrub is a perfect product for those who want a gentle scrub for daily use and for those who face lots of pollution and sun damage related issues. It has very small scrubbing particles that won’t scratch your skin while reducing tanning and dullness from skin. However, I’m not sure how well it works as an exfoliator but you can use this as a scrub wash everyday. Also, can be used as a face mask (written on tube). Although, I have never used this as a face mask and personally I would not suggest as well.
