This is going to be my honest and non-sponsored review of Dot And Key Vitamin C Sunscreen. This sunscreen has become pretty popular and it is available at such an affordable price (during sale) so I thought I should give it a try because I love trying out new sunscreens. Besides, this Dot And Key Sunscreen is formulated with antioxidant duo vitamin C and vitamin E to add the benefits of skin care as well. Summer is extremely humid that makes it very tough to layer serum, moisturizer and then sunscreen, so it’s better to use a multi purpose sunscreen and this sunscreen can replace your moisturizer in summer (if you have oily skin).

Dot And Key Vitamin C Sunscreen Review And My Experience
As claimed, it has a watery consistency that glides very easily and it takes little time to blend and absorb onto my facial skin. I have noticed it needs a little extra time to dry up as it is watery in texture and I also apply hydrating serum beneath. Besides, when I apply it over my hands and feet, this sunscreen gets absorbed in no time. My skin type is normal-dry which remains normal in summer and becomes dry in winters.
This sunscreen is a bit different than all the sunscreens I’ve used before. It is more like a sunscreen serum. Dot And Key sunscreen gives zero white cast and it doesn’t have a dewy finish, therefore it will be suitable for oily-combination skin. Plus, it also gives a little bit of hydration so you can skip moisturizer. The sunscreen is balanced as it does not make your skin dry either that makes it suitable for almost all skin types. Just apply your regular moisturizer beneath if you have dry skin and you’re good to go.
I apply it after using a serum and this sunscreen doesn’t even feel like I have put something on my face. Now, when I apply a generous amount, it sits well initially, however after few hours I accidentally touched my face and noticed – it starts pilling. But it is confusing because it doesn’t pill each time I apply but I do have experienced it once in a while. Besides the pilling issue, I don’t have any problem with this sunscreen to be honest. It is good at this price. Dot And Key sunscreen does not feel greasy, sticky or give any patchy appearance.
Furthermore, I will recommend using this sunscreen only when you are going out for a short period of time because it already forms a thin layer on the skin which might not be enough for beach and vacations. Although, it is easy to reapply and does not become patchy on reapplication.
Suitability
In case you are wondering, if this sunscreen will suit your sensitive skin or not, then answer is – yes! it can suit sensitive skin but not the damaged or compromised skin barrier. It does not irritate skin or give any bumps or pimples. I like to apply this over my exposed hands and feet as well when I’m going out because it looks completely invisible and also gives a lightweight feel. Overall, dot and key vitamin C sunscreen is suitable for normal, combination and oily skin types.
