I received this amazing hair serum in PR, really thankful to the team Nykaa. Because it turned out as a saviour for my tangled hair. This is going to be completely non-biased review. My hair type is naturally silky but since the past one year it has become a bit frizzy, tangled and rough. I have tried some other products for my hair as well and between all of them, this Wella Smoothening Treatment is my favorite. It is a bit similar to Livon but much better than Livon hair serum. Fragrance
This is the only thing I hate about this hair serum.. It has a strong fragrance, smells like a cough syrup. The fragrance is strong that can cause headache to some people. It stays on my hair for quite some time.

Texture and appearance– The texture is more like a hair serum than an oil. Though, it is infused with oils like macadamia seed oil and avocado oil. Texture of this Wella oil reflections luminous smoothening treatment is light weight, non-sticky and non greasy.
I have used this hair treatment serum over both – damp hair and dry hair. Surprisingly, it goes well with both situations, at least for me. I have never used any hair serum that detangles hair as faster as this one. It might be because I have thin hair. But compared to other hair serums, I find this one so much better. It helps me detangle my hair quite easily while adding a nice shine and smoothness. Plus, it doesn’t weight down my hair a lot, it just tame frizzness, adding a soft feel to my hair.
I have finished this serum already and also tried some expensive and affordable hair serums that are available in indian market. I this wella smoothening treatment best for my hair, much more better than expensive one. Initially, I thought it was just like a regular detangling hair serum but later, after trying out some other serum, my mind changed. None of them performed as good as this one.
Additionally, with regular use it also makes my hair look better as it adds little shine and smoothness to the hair.

After finishing the whole bottle, I still haven’t notice any side effect. In fact, it helps in detangling hair making it more manageable that leads to less hair breakage resulting in less hairfall.
