Neemli Naturals 10% Tranexamic Acid Spot Correcting Concentrate Review : I have recently finished this serum and really liked it. Neemli Naturals Spot Correcting serum is formulated with two amazing spot correcting ingredients – tranexamic acid (10%) and alpha arbutin (2%) which is quite impressive. You don’t have to buy separate serums if you like both of these ingredients. The main benefits of tranexamic acid includes: skin brightening and reduction in appearance of acne scars, pigmentation, melasma and discoloration. It can be also beneficial for treating acne and skin barrier.

Ingredients
*Neemli Naturals dark spot concentrate is formulated with two main potent skin lighter – Alpha arbutin and Tranexamic acid.
Alpha Arbutin (2%)
It is an ingredient that was originally derived from the dried leaves of various plants, including bearberry, blueberry, and cranberry. While it was initially obtained naturally, advancements in science have allowed for the synthetic production of Alpha Arbutin. Alpha Arbutin is effective in addressing issues such as dullness, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. And with regular use it lightens skin as well.
Furthermore, Alpha Arbutin is particularly beneficial in reducing melasma, with a concentration of 3% being the most effective for treating hyperpigmentation.
Tranexamic Acid (10%)
This ingredient isn’t as popular as other dark spot correctors and it contains 10% Tranexamic Acid which is quite potent.
Tranexamic acid is helpful in skin lightening and brightening. It has the ability to reduce melanin production effectively makes it an ideal ingredient for diminishing dark spots, acne scars, marks, and melasma. Moreover, it also serves as a preventive measure against future discoloration.
Added to that, tranexamic acid possesses anti-inflammatory properties that aid in inhibiting the formation of blood vessels. This quality proves beneficial in reducing redness and maintaining the skin’s protective barrier for individuals with rosacea, as well as minimizing acne flares and their accompanying redness.
Overall, it seems a promising ingredient to make your skin flawless.
Fragrance
I haven’t noticed any kind of smell in it. It’s a fragrance free serum which I really appreciate.
Neemli Naturals Tranexamic Acid Spot Correcting Concentrate Review And My Experience
Texture and appearance:
Neemli spot correcting concentrate is clear, transparent liquid having a slightly gel like texture that glides easily over skin.
Application:
I apply this serum right after cleansing my face, when it is slightly damp. It is recommended to use during night time but I have also tried it in the daytime and noticed this serum does not go well with sunscreens. My sunscreen gets flaky while putting it, therefore I decided to avoid this in daytime skincare routine. Since I’m not using any toner or essence currently, this goes as first step after cleansing to give more effective and fast results.
On top of this serum, I apply Bioderma atoderm lotion and sometimes I also use Minimalist ceramide cream. This serum doesn’t cause flakiness when applied beneath moisturizer. Moreover, this serum can suit almost all the skin types because it neither cause oiliness nor dryness. It is sort of a balanced formula which is suitable for using under any moisturizer. However, I don’t recommend using it under makeup or sunscreen.
Results
Coming to the results, it works pretty effectively over my skin. I have never used tranexamic acid products before and starting it with such high concentration made me a little skeptical initially. However, it performs really gently and I can use it alternatively with retinol as well. This serum has never caused irritation, bumps or pimples to my skin.
Apart from this, the serum claims a lot like reducing hyperpigmentation, dark spots, melasma, even skin tone and making it more radiant. Well, after using it for two months I would say it wasn’t disappointing for me. Initially, I felt like it isn’t doing anything but after several weeks I have noticed reduction in appearance of my pimple/acne marks. The serum lightens my dark spots and now my skin looks more even toned and radiant too.
Furthermore, I don’t have hyperpigmentation or melasma, therefore I can’t say how’s it will work on that. Personally I like this more than my previous serums I have used for dark spots because it is gentle and performs well with retinol too.
