Lakme Tinted Sunscreen Review & My Experience

Lakme sun expert tinted sunscreen has very neutral kind of shade which is easily suitable for wheatish and fair skin tones. However, for darker skin tones it may look slightly tacky or ashy after application. I gave it to my mom (her skin tone is slightly deep) and when she apply this, it looks little ashy on her face for sometime. I have fair skin tone, on which it gives a very natural finish with light coverage.

The sunscreen has medium consistency that glides very smoothly over skin. I mostly apply this over a serum because I don’t like applying sunscreen directly over my face. One should never apply sunscreen directly to their skin because the chemicals used in sunscreens can absorbed by your body. The sad part is, this sunscreen is really sticky even when I apply directly it feels sticky on my normal skin type. Furthermore, it also leaves shiny finish, so not recommended to you oily/combination skin type. The claim of of being ultra matte and non sticky is not true at all.

I feel that it would be a nice pick for winters as it has SPF 50 PA+++ which provides sufficient protection. If you love spending your time under the sun during winters, you can definitely go for this one. This sunscreen gives a nice protection against harmful UV rays but you have keep reapplying it.
