Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Body Scrub Review | PROS | CONS

I used to see a lot of Palmer’s products on Pinterest and this is my first, one and only product from the brand. This brand was pretty popular back then. But with time their craze knocked off. I have tried only few body scrubs in my life and in recent times I have started using exfoliating body wash. That’s why I don’t use body scrubs a lot. However, I tried this and it is definitely worth it. So, here is Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Body Scrub Review.

Packaging

I like the fact that it comes in tube form instead of jar packaging. It is hygienic to use and also travel friendly. Although, it is big in size which a lot of you might not like to carry around. The tube holds all the product details on the back of it.

Fragrance

The body scrub smells amazing. It smells like coconut cookies along with the hint of mint. Even though I don’t like coconut and it’s smell, I like the fragrance of this body scrub. It doesn’t cause irritation or headache to me. But some people can experience headaches.

Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Body Scrub Review And My Experience

The body scrub appears as typical sugar scrubs available in the market. And this body scrub also contain raw coconut sugar. The scrubbing particles are not very harsh but over some areas (mostly over thin skin), it feels little coarse. Though, it is gentle in compared to those apricot or walnut based scrubs.

I cleanse my skin using body wash, pat dry the skin then move ahead to apply this body scrub. When I first applied it to damp skin, it melts off. I would suggest you apply this over dry skin because the scrubbing particles melts very quickly when comes in contact with water. Hence, does not exfoliates the skin properly. On the other hand, it works perfectly over dry skin.

Though, as an exfoliator it works effectively and my skin appears clearer than before. Plus, it also adds softness and smoothness to my skin. After using this body scrub my skin does not feel dry at all but I apply moisturizer right after the shower. I use this once a week, not more than that. So I can’t say, if this will remove sun tan or not. Furthermore, it does not leave a shiny or oily residue (in case you are concerned about it). However, you can avoid this during extremely humid climate.

Overall, Palmer’s Coconut Sugar Body Scrub is definitely worth a try if you are looking for something that will give you a soft, polished skin. Though, I will not re-purchase it because I am going to try an another exfoliator.
