In this post, I will share newly launched Nykaa Naturals De Tanning Face Wash Review in sandalwood and orange peel variant. It was launched in three variant: purifying, glowing and de tanning. These days I’m not using anything for tan removal and more dedicated towards hydration because my skin becomes really dry recently.
My experience with some nykaa products isn’t that great but still I wanted to give this a try because this one comes at a very affordable price. So after using it for a few weeks here is my detailed review of nykaa naturals de tanning face wash.

Nykaa naturals face wash is a gentle cleanser that refines your skin. With every wash it rids your skin of impurities and residual makeup while the dissolving dead cells. Take your pick from three different variant that address common skin concerns and go beyond surface cleansing. It contains sandalwood and orange peel:
Sandalwood: An age-old ingredient that helps in tan removal and is long revered for its antiseptic healing benefits, along with the cooling effect it has on the skin.
Orange peel: The humble orange is a phenomenal fruit and its peel is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that will make your skin look younger and well moisturized.
How To Use
Wet your face with water, use dime-sized amount of face wash. Lather up and massage onto your face in circular motion. Rinse with water and pat it dry.
Caution
The face wash is only for external use. Avoid contact with your eyes, if product enters in your eye rinse thoroughly with clean water. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. Avoid the contact of high temperature or direct sunlight.

Nykaa naturals sandalwood and orange peel face wash comes in an orange flip open cap. It’s cap shuts well and does not cause any leakage so you can carry it while travelling as well. But some may find this tube a little bulky. Nykaa face washes are only available in single size. Moreover, it contain all the product related details except description which you can find on their website. Overall packaging is basic and I don’t have any concerns with its packaging.
Fragrance
Nykaa de tanning face wash has delicious tangerine smell with the hint of floral. The fragrance is really pleasing, however it is strong and does linger around for quite some time that may irritate sensitive noses.
Nykaa Naturals De Tanning Face Wash Review And My Experience
Nykaa naturals de tanning sandalwood and orange peel face wash is gel based having a runny consistency. I take a big coins size amount and rub it between my palms. It foams up really well and also cleanse dirt and grime accumulated on my face. Even when I apply directly to my face, it glides effortlessly. This gel face wash feel slippery while washing and takes time in getting rinsed off which is really time-consuming especially when you are in hurry.
Face wash is non-drying and little hydrating as well that’s why I mostly use this in the morning. Moreover, I feel like it does not cleanse my pores deeply but removes dirt, sweat and oil. Additionally it does not remove water resistant sunscreens and heavy makeup residue. And if you are using it in the evening or night, make sure you double cleanse in order to get rid of sunscreen and makeup residue.
Even though the face wash feels gentle on the skin due to its hydrating properties, this may not suit sensitive skin because it has a strong fragrance. Fragrances in skin care products can really irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin type.
In first few uses, I didn’t see any difference on my skin. The results are visible approximately after ten days of using this face wash. It give me a little glow after every wash and reduces suntan overtime. Although, it may not remove stubborn or old tan. I do have a little bit of tanning on my face and it does work on that.

Overall I think Nykaa naturals face wash will be suitable for all the skin types (except sensitive skin) but one can only use it in the morning because it does not cleanse sunscreen and heavy makeup residue. I personally like this face wash because it gave me a glow without irritating my skin and I might repurchase it as too.
