My today’s post will be about Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi Function Sunblock SPF 70. Lotus herbal safe sun range has lots variety in sunscreen with SPF 25, 30, 40, 50, 70 and 100. I’m a huge fan of high SPF sunscreens and I bought this SPF 70 sunblock that has also added the benefits of BB cream. It is tinted so, one would not need to add an another layer of BB cream or sunscreen.

Fragrance
It has mild floral kind of smell which isn’t strong so, won’t bother sensitive noses and also it dies down soon after application.

My Experience
The sunblock has medium consistency and it is a little runny. As you can see through the picture it is tinted and will be suitable for most of the indian skin tones. It spreads evenly on the skin surface and gets absorbed with light massage, you can also use beauty blender to get that perfect finish. I layer this above my serum and moisturizer, it gives me a soft matte finish and does not feel oily or greasy. The formula is perfect for normal and combination skin but for dry skin a good moisturizer is needed underneath and oily skin beauties can use compact powder to get a perfect matte finish. On application it gives slight burning sensation for just few seconds but does not cause any redness or irritation to my skin.
The shade looks slightly orangey on my face however, when I got tanned it matches to my skin tone pretty well. I think the shade will not match to very fair and pale skin tones but matches to indian skin tones really well. The sunblock does not look tacky on my skin but can flakes very easily if you rub your face after it dries up completely and also it transfer very easily on mobile screen. In summers it comes off very easily when I sweat so, I think a compact powder will really do the justice.
Now talking about the sun protection, this does provide adequate protection from sun and even if I stay out for long I got tanned a very little. This is the perfect pick if you are looking for a high protection sunscreen with benefits of BB cream.
