Fragrance

Loreal Extraordinary Clay Shampoo has fruity kind of smell which is a bit strong and stays for several hours after washing. Despite of having strong smell, it did not cause any headache to me. Although, if you have very sensitive nose, it may cause you headache. I did not like the fragrance much as it’s strong smell keep reminding me that I’m using something which contain chemicals.

My Experience

Loreal Extraordinary Clay Shampoo has medium gel cream like consistency with micro glittery particles. Over my scalp, it spreads easily and creates a good amount of lather which is enough to cleanse hair nicely. It removes dirt, dust and excessive oil effectively from my scalp and hair and gets rinsed off quite easily. Also, it doesn’t leave any residue behind. The shampoo does not weight down my hair and it feels fresh but there is no hydrating or softening effect after wash.

The claim of being anti oiliness is quite true, I used to wash my hair thrice a week because it tend to become oily quite often. Thankfully, after started using this shampoo I do not need to wash my hair frequently. Now, I only wash my hair twice in a week which is such a relief to me because washing hair a lot can also cause hair damage. But there is also a downside that it can make hair slightly dry. After using this for few weeks I have observed that it did give me a relief from oily scalp but my hair ends became a bit dryer than before.

So, make sure to use a good hydrating conditioner or a hair mask along with it. Furthermore, if you have very dry and damaged hair I would advice not to use this shampoo. Despite of that, I think it is a really good shampoo for oily or extremely oily hair and scalp. Highly recommended to them.
