Sebamed Multi Protect Sun Lotion SPF 50+ Review

Sebamed Multi Protect Sun Lotion SPF 50+ Review : I have realised why it’s very important to look for the review before buying any skincare product after trying out this sunscreen. Since it was in the market when sunscreen was not that popular, I bought without even thinking a bit because it was on huge discount. Additionally it has very high protection with SPF 50+ and I love high protection sunscreen as my skin is quite sensitive to sun and heat. Another plus point was its huge quantity, that is 150ml. But I could not finish the whole bottle, read on to know why.

Sebamed Multi Protect Sun Lotion SPF 50+ Review And My Experience

It is an old school sunscreen and the texture is sticky. The sunscreen is lotion based, slightly thicker but glides on the skin without extra effort, however it takes time to settle. You will need to massage it for little extra time. Besides, the white cast it leave takes forever to subside. To be honest, it feels uncomfortable on the skin due to its sticky and greasy nature and I couldn’t test it over my face for a long period of time. It also makes my skin look very shiny and oily. Even though, I have normal to dry skin I did not liked it.

Moreover, it will suit only if your skin tone is extremely fair but I would not recommend to Indian skin tones, be it fair skinned or dark skinned. Now, in case you are wondering, who can use it and where it could be used? In my opinion, it will suit very fairer skin tones and you can take it with yourself while going out on the beach. Because it has high protection and water resistant too. Sebamed sun lotion gives good protection, therefore it will be adaptable for outdoors.

Furthermore, I have tried it on my hands, feet, neck and it leaves white cast causing stain to my clothes. And I couldn’t use it anywhere.
Well, the sunscreen has a good side as well. Sebamed sun lotion is sensitive skin friendly, water-resistant and have a high sun protection that makes it one of the best sunscreen to use on the beach.
But it will only suit white or very fair skin tones. Not recommended to Indian brown or wheatish skin colors. Other good things are it does not pill, does not dry out the skin, has no fragrance and pH balanced 5.5.

Overall I didn’t like Sebamed Multi Protect Sun Lotion SPF 50+ because it gave me an uncomfortable feeling after each application. It leaves a white cast, feels sticky, slightly heavy and little greasy.
