La Roche Posay Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen SPF 100 Review

La Roche Posay sunscreens are popular across the globe especially SPF 50 one. This Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen is not too popular but it has highest SPF which made me buy this product. You know that you need something really strong to protect your skin when you are using strong exfoliating agents and also live in a hot region. Usually my skin used to turn red whenever I’m exposed to strong and direct sunlight. But ever since I included this I didn’t face such skin burning issues. Another product – banana boat SPF 100 sunscreen also give good protection but comparatively this La Roche Posay sunscreen feels lighter on facial skin. I was using it outdoor but recently I incorporated it in my daily skincare routine to finish it as soon as I can because it is going to be expired in few months. I have tried and tested this sunscreen several times to know it’s actual advantages and disadvantages. Now let’s move ahead to La Roche Posay Sunscreen SPF 100 Review and it’s PROS and CONS.

La Roche Posay Sunscreen SPF 100 Review And My Experience

Texture And Appearance – The texture of this sunscreen is not very soft rather it appears little frothy, still it felt smooth when I spread it over my face. It’s not very thick in consistency but not runny either, it’s somewhere between.

I have tested it over my face, hands and feet. On face it looks very shiny and when applied over dry hands and feet it does not look shiny rather leaves a soft-hydrated feel. The sunscreen gets absorbed easily over dry skin and I really enjoyed using this during winter. It just feels like applying a moisturizer.

During summer, it looks quite shiny on application and just sit over my face, still it does not feel very heavy or greasy. Since it also moisturizes skin, I always skip moisturizer while using this sunscreen. It does not leave a heavy white cast but when applied in excess or layered over different skincare products it looks little patchy, weird and sometimes pill. That’s why I use it directly over my skin.

Protection:

It offers excellent protection against harmful UV rays while moisturizing your dry skin. I mostly use it when I’m going out and it keeps my skin protected throughout the day with highest SPF 100. I have never experienced tan lines or burn after using it even if I don’t reapply it.

Moreover, it may not be very beach-friendly because of its moisturizing properties as you may not feel very comfortable in humid climate after applying this. But if you have extremely dry skin, go ahead and use this undoubtedly. Added to that, it’s formulation is non-comedogenic, therefore it will not block pores or cause breakouts makes it worry-free sunscreen for those facing pimples, clogged pores and bumps on their skin. But I will also suggest you to avoid layering many products while using this sunscreen.

Overview:

La Roche Posay Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen SPF 100 is a good option for those looking for a moisturizer that provides sun protection seamlessly even under the harsh sun. However, I would recommend using it in a non-humid climate. This sunscreen is not at all adaptable for summers or humid regions. If you are someone who uses tretinoin, tazarotene, glycolic acid or anything which makes skin dry and sun sensitive, this highest SPF sunscreen with enough moisturizing properties can be a perfect fit in your morning skincare routine.
