Innisfree orchid intense cream review: My today’s post is about innisfree orchid intense cream review. Innisfree orchid cream has three variant: gel, enriched and intense. This is one of my favourite moisturizer and this innisfree orchid intense cream is suitable for dry to extremely dry skin. Whereas, gel cream is for oily, combination skin and enriched cream is suitable for normal skin type.
My skin type is normal but becomes really dry in winters that’s why I picked it up. I have been using it since a year and it is almost finished now. So let’s get into the details.
Price: INR 2200 for 50ml
Product Description And Claims
The meticulously extracted active ingredient from jeju orchid delivers exceptional sleekness to your thirsty skin with its outstanding antioxidant effects. The super nourishing anti aging cream formulated with the vitality of jeju orchid for wrinkle correction, elasticity, skin tone, extreme dryness control and skin texture.
It is a daily intense moisture cream that offers extra hydration and nourishment suitable during winter season or those with dry skin type.
Packaging
Innisfree orchid intense cream comes in a violet colour plastic tub with screw on cap. The tub is sturdy and does not leak so you can carry it while travelling as well (only if you ignore its size). Although, the tub packaging is unhygienic and they did not provide any spatula with it so you have to dip your fingers to get the cream out. Furthermore, you can find all the details (in english) on labels it has as well as on the outer cardboard box.
Fragrance
Smells really amazing! It has floral fragrance that smells exactly like other products from the orchid range. But this may be downside for people who don’t like to use fragrances in their skin care products. Moreover, the fragrance is slightly strong and stays for some time after application.
Innisfree orchid intense cream review And My Experience
Innisfree orchid intense cream has thick consistency and formula is superb for dry skin beauties. After application, it leaves a sheen on the skin but my skin felt instantly soft and moisturized as it covers all the dryness. Also, feels slightly sticky and a little heavy as well but I really don’t mind it because this is how a dry skin cream supposed to be, thick and heavy. So that it can heals dryness effectively. I don’t use it regularly because of its thick consistency.
Since it is so moisturizing, I have been using it on and off, whenever my skin feels dry or it gets cracked. On first few usage, it give an amazing brightening effect but after that this cream just forget to brighten my skin. Now, it only has moisturizing effect.
With regular use, it adds a softness, suppleness and now my skin restored to its original smoothness. Apart from that, it give me few tiny breakouts when I was layering it over different serums and oils. I know it was my mistake as the cream is already very thick, moisturizing and by putting too much serum and facial oil beneath, I clogged my pores.
If you are prone to breakouts this may not suit you because this contains silicones which can make breakouts even worse. Besides, I will suggest not to use this cream in day time because it will only attract dirt and dust. Also, it may cause your makeup to crease because the formulation is little greasy. My BB cream horribly creases on eye and mouth area and my whole base looks patchy when I use it under makeup. I really regret using this under makeup.
As for the anti-aging claims, I think it would be great choice for those who are in their early twenties having dry to very dry skin types. It has skin nourishing properties that softens and plumps skin also makes skin barrier strong.
PROS
- Moisturizers dry to very dry skin effectively

Overall Rating: 4.1 / 5
Overall innisfree orchid intense cream would be a great dry skin treatment cream with the added benefits of anti-aging. Highly recommended to people having dry and extremely dry skin. People having normal skin can use this in winters. The only thing I don’t like about this is that they have added fragrance to it.
