Hey guys!
Today I’m here to share my experience with Garnier Light Complete Serum In Lotion. I bought this a long time ago but started using recently since last few weeks. I bought the small sized bottle because I didn’t want to waste my money in case I end up disliking the product. This lotion is infused with Yuzu lemon essence and vitamin C that claims to lighten dark spots and brighten skin. So if you are interested in it let’s move ahead to know how’s this worked.
Price: INR 149 for 125ml, INR 275 for 250ml
Shelf life: 3 years
Product Description
The light weight serum in lotion is enriched with Yuzu Lemon Essence known to lighten dark spots and brighten skin tone. It has UVA/UVB filters known to protect skin from the sun. Its fast absorbing and non sticky texture intensely moisturises your skin. Skin feels soft, supple and nourished all day long.
Ingredients
Packaging
The lotion comes in a yellow colored opaque bottle and white flip open cap with all the details printed on back of the bottle. The bottle is convenient and hygienic to use, it is also leak proof so, won’t stain your stuffs while traveling.
Fragrance
Garnier Light Complete Serum In lotion has a very nice floral fragrance with slight hint of citrus. It does have a little strong fragrance that stays for quite some time and might bother people who have sensitive nose. However, the smell is pleasant which I like a lot. It smells quite similar to light complete serum cream.
My Experience
The lotion is milky and has slightly runny medium consistency. It spreads very easily but started peeling off after few strokes that makes my skin look awful. So what I do is spread it over my skin and give just 2-3 strokes then leave it to get fully absorbed. It gets absorbed completely into the skin and does not form any layer or white cast. The best thing is, it doesn’t make skin feels oily or greasy once it gets absorbed into the skin completely, my skin feels hydrated and soft yet, does not look shiny or oily, post application.
The lotion is lighter than usual body lotions so, can be applied on face as well as on the body. I don’t like to use this on my face since it is loaded with alcohol and mineral oil. The lotion does not irritated my skin however, there is chances to irritate sensitive skin due to presence of alcohol and fragrance in good quantity. Also this lotion can’t be a good choice for dry skin as it is not that hydrating and alcohol might dehydrate the skin. Well, about the brightening claims it did make my skin little radiant. But don’t expect any miraculous result. It does not work on dark spots.
Overall garnier light complete serum in lotion can be use as body lotion during humid weather but it flakes very easily and contains alcohol which is a big cons for me.
