So my today’s post will be a review about Biotique bio carrot sunscreen lotion with SPF 40+ UVA/UVB protection.

Product Description
This nutrient rich lotion is blended with extracts of nyctanthes leaf, carrot root, lodhra bark and sprouted wheat germ to keep skin soft, fair and moisturized in sun. Protects skin with broad spectrum SPF 40 UVA/UVB sunscreen.
Packaging
The 50ml pack comes in an orange tube with flip flop cap with all the details printed on back of the tube. Packaging is travel friendly and hygienic. Another 120ml and 190ml pack comes in cylindrical plastic bottle, I think this tube packaging is more convenient than bottle.

It has very nice floral fragrance and smells quite similar to ayur cold cream. The smell isn’t overpowering.
My Experience
The consistency of this sunscreen is medium and slightly runny that glides quite easily over my skin. It takes about a minute to get absorbed completely into the skin. The lotion leaves a slight oily sheen on the skin, also makes me look a bit dull that’s why I don’t like using this on my face. I use the entire lotion on my hands and feets as they were dry and this lotion provides sufficient moisture to my skin. The positive thing about this lotion is that it does not leave any white cast on the skin, also does not flakes or peeled off. I found this lotion slightly heavy for my face.
The sunscreen lotion has SPF 40+ UVA/UVB protection but to be honest I don’t think this is able to prevent tanning especially during very hot summer. My skin get tanned pretty easily even after using this properly. But this one performed really well during winter, it provides protection from tanning along with the sufficient moisture to my skin. If you have dry skin you can definitely use this during winter. It also a good option to be used during indoor activities.
