Packaging

Nivea micellair skin breathe face wash comes in pink transparent tube and small nozzle to squeeze out the required product. It is covered with a grey flip top cap. Transparent packaging allows you to see how much product is left. The quantity provided is 150ml that will last for 2 months if used only once a day. Furthermore, tube is huge and bulky so cannot called travel friendly. The tube carries all the details which is mentioned on back of the tube.

Fragrance

It has typical floral fragrance that isn’t really smell like roses. However smells pleasant but maybe a little overpowering to some. The fragrance lingers after rinsing the face wash which quite bothersome to me and feels like it is still there even after rinsing.

My Experience

The face wash has gel consistency and forms a good lather, although its pretty hard to create lather on oiled skin. I never use oil based cleanser or any natural oil to remove makeup before using this product but garnier oil infused cleansing water works pretty well with this. It was able to remove dirt, impurities, excess oil from the skin also cleanses minimal makeup residue but not water proof or heavy makeup at all. The claim of removing water proof makeup isn’t really true. Face wash cleanses skin very well but does not give that squeaky clean feeling. It comes out easily with few splashes of water and my skin appears soft and clean once rinsed and pat dried. The face wash does not leave slippery feeling or any kind of residue or film on the skin.

I use this face wash in the morning as well as in the night time and I need a coin sized amount for each usage to cleanse my skin properly. It doesn’t dry out my skin, still its better to use a moisturizer afterwards because our skin gets dry after using anything that is meant for cleansing our skin. This is not recommended for extremely dry skinned people as you need to go for some creamy nourishing face wash. The thing I don’t like about this face wash is that it does not adds any glow to the skin and my skin doesn’t look or feel rejuvenated after using this. Furthermore, the face wash has never irritated my skin which is a great thing but it has pretty strong fragrance added that might troubles sensitive skin.
