Ingredients
Packaging
Dove regenerative repair conditioner comes in a soft, tall plastic tube with a red flip open cap which is neither too loose nor too tight. The tube itself is opaque so you won’t be able to check the remaining amount. Additionally, all the product related details are mentioned on back of the tube including claims, description, ingredients, direction and manufacturing details. Furthermore, I don’t think it is good to travel with as it is really tall that will take a lot of space in your bag.
Fragrance
You will notice a strong fragrance as soon as you open the cap. The fragrance may annoy you, if you have sensitive nose. I personally did not like the smell, it is a strong floral scent. Moreover, its smell lingers around for almost all day long after conditioning hair with it.
Dove Regenerative Repair Conditioner Review And My Experience
Dove Regenerative Repair Conditioner has a medium thick creamy consistency that glides very easily over my hair ends. I used it once or twice a week and have finished the product already. For my medium length hair, I take only a coin size amount, spread it all over my hair ends and leave it for 2 minutes. Then, rinse off using normal temperature water. It takes a lot of water in order to getting washed off completely. Like most of the hair conditioners, it also feels slippery while rinsing. Personally, I don’t like such shampoo and conditioners that doesn’t comes off easily and leaves a slippery residue behind.
The first time when I use this conditioner I had really seen a difference in my hair. It was a lot softer, smoother and less tangled than before. I would not say that, it help me get rid of hair damage completely but it definitely makes a difference.
But as time goes by, I started to not liking it much because after using it regularly my hair becomes more oilier. Also after a month or so, I didn’t see any improvement rather my hair just produces more oil. Additionally, I stop getting soft and silky feel after using it. Moreover, I didn’t like it’s strong smell lingering around me all day. So I stop using it. Now, you must be wondering how I finished it up as I said earlier. I actually used it up as shaving cream and it works pretty nicely.

CONS
- Strong smell
- Takes a lot of water in getting washed off completely
- Does not work on damaged hair
- Not good for oily hair as it makes hair even more oilier overtime
Overall Rating: 2 / 5
Overall it turned out as a basic hair conditioner that soften and smoothen hair a bit after washing but didn’t repair hair damage at all. I don’t recommend it because it didn’t work for me.
