A body lotion with sun protection is a must have for me especially in summer and my today’s review is about Lotus Herbal Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion. The lotion has SPF 25 PA+++ that provide enough protection while you are at home. However if I have to go out I always prefer SPF 30 or higher for my body.

Packaging
It comes in an opaque orange bottle with pump dispenser that makes it convenient to use. The pump has lock system which prevent leakage but the bottle is bulky to travel with.
Texture and Consistency
It has slightly thicker consistency with a smooth texture that glides easily on skin. The lotion takes a while to get absorbed completely into the skin.
Fragrance
I can’t really define how it smells, it has kinda Floral scent in it which is not too overpowering.
My Experience
The lotion is a little thicker than normal lotions, I’ve found that it needs to be rubbed to get absorbed in the skin but once it is absorbed, it feels like I’m wearing nothing, it doesn’t give any greasiness or oiliness to my skin and my skin feels soft and hydrated. I have dry skin and I need to reapply after two or three hours of application. It will provide very good protection if applied frequently. About the lightening claims, I don’t get any lightening effect.
