My today’s review is about VLCC de tan+WhiteGlo body lotion which is launched just few months ago. I bought this mainly because it has good amount of SPF and of course it is quite affordable as well. It also claims to de tan and brighten the skin. Let’s move ahead to find out how it works on me.
Price: INR 299 for 350ml
Shelf life: 3 years
Product Description
VLCC De Tan+WhiteGlo Moisturising Body Lotion is an effective formulation that moisturises and soothes skin while offering sun protection thus preventing premature aging and tanning. It contains goodness of aloe Vera extracts, soothes the skin, brighten skin tone, moisturises and Hydrates skin while fading tan and leaving skin nourished and glowing.
Suitable for all skin types
Packaging
It comes in a tall opaque yellow bottle with white pump dispenser. Pump dispenser is convenient to use but the bottle is too huge and heavy so I don’t feel comfortable in carrying it around. The bottle carries description, direction and ingredients over it.
Ingredients
Texture and Fragrance
Texture is a little creamy but not thick neither runny. It has perfect lotion consistency that spreads effortlessly. Fragrance is mild and has a little herbal kind of smell into it.
My Experience
I have been this lotion since a month now it spreads effortlessly on skin and its texture is little creamy that takes around one minute to get completely absorbed. Once lotion gets absorbed it doesn’t feel oily or greasy but if applied excess then it has the potential to make skin greasy or shiny. It covers lots of area with the tiny amount and moisturises skin making it soft and supple without leaving any white cast.
As for the brightening and de tanning claims, it didn’t make my skin bright rather it prevents me from tanning as I have noticed my skin to tan less when I’m using this. You can use this body lotion while going to school, college, office etc but if you are planning to stay long hours under the sun, this would not be enough.
