Hey everyone!
So I’m going to review Godrej Professional Keratin Rich Shampoo today.
Keratin is known to prevent breakage, heat damage and frizzy hair. Many people go for keratin treatment to get that silky, smooth hair. My hair is naturally silky but due to pollution it gets little rough, frizzy and damaged. To get rid of that I believe in keratin or argan oil enriched hair care products.
I spotted this Keratin rich shampoo on Nykaa and the word ‘professional’ tempted me a lot so I purchased this. Also this professional range is not that expensive and is reasonably priced. So I give this a try and here is its review.
Price : INR 350 for 250ml
Shelf life : 30 months
Product Description
Our beautiful hair strands are made up of 91% natural protein called ‘keratin’. Pollution and climate conditions affect the natural keratin in the hair. Regular boosts of this protein helps to strengthen the hair leaving it smooth, supple and shiny.
How to use
Thoroughly wet hair. Apply shampoo evenly on scalp. Massage with gentle circular motions and running fingers through the lengths of the hair. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary

Packaging
Godrej Professional Keratin Rich Shampoo comes in a light sky blue colored bottle with metallic press open cap that works well and does not cause leakage. The bottle is made up of soft plastic and squeezable so one can take out the product easily. On back of the bottle you can find all the details including description, instruction, ingredients and manufacturing details. This shampoo is only available in a single size of 250ml and since it huge and bulky I don’t think it is travel friendly.
Fragrance
The smell is a little odd, I can’t really define but it is neither pleasant not that bad. It is mild and not overpowering to bother sensitive noses.
My Experience
The shampoo is glittery, contain lots of micro glitters that looks beautiful. These micro glitters aren’t coarse and the shampoo has smooth texture with medium runny consistency. It spreads very easily over my scalp and forms enough lather. It cleasnses dirt, sweat and to remove oil completely you need to take some extra amount to cleanse every trace of oil. The shampoo is very easy to rinse off, it comes off easily without leaving any slippery residue or taking too much time. So it will save your time and water too.
The shampoo adds a volume and shine to my hair but does not makes it smooth or nourished. I did not see my hair being strengthen or anything, it just cleanse my hair well. It says it is suitable for normal to dry hair but after using this I can say it is more suitable for normal to oily hair. This might makes the dry hair more drier.
Although the shampoo worked so well for me during humid weather. I was using dove shampoo that tends to make my hair oily very frequently and I have to wash my hair again and again that causes damage hair. But this shampoo comes to rescue my hair, now my hair does not gets oily frequently, washing my hair twice a week is just enough.
Overall this is okay okay product for me, works amazing during humid weather.
